His golden eyes were filled with anger, his claws sharper than blades and his fur all over his face. "I called her mine, because she's mine!" Lucian clenched his fists, his purple eyes darkening. "Aria belongs to me! Release me, Miss Hellcat!" Raven said furiously as he tried to break free from whatever spells Miss Hellcat had cast on them. If Miss Hellcat released them from her spell, they were going to kill each other for sure, and I didn't want that to happen. I love them so much. Miss Hellcat ignored their ranting and fixed her gaze on me. The monsters were curious about what was going on.

One left. She turned, her chest heaving, her knuckles bleeding beneath the crumbling stone armor. The third monster had stopped at the edge of the mud trap. It looked at its dead companions, then looked at the human woman standing amidst the gore. It didn't charge. The chaotic purple light in its eyes began to pulse with a blinding, erratic intensity. The veins on its grey scalp bulged, glowing with toxic, unstable mana. This was no mere brawler. This was a Mana-Ghoul—a creature whose internal magic was so volatile and broken that it was essentially a living bomb.

Just as Lucifer was going to kill the evil man, Max shouted. Hearing Max's voice, Lucifer immediately cancelled his attack and activated "ARCANE SHIELD" as a barrage of attack's came from the snake. I smiled to myself as I climbed into the car and drove her to her death. This wasn’t how I wanted the night to end at least not with this woman but it would hold off my demons for now.

A portal opened in front of her, and her grip tightened on the weapon. ‘I can do this. Alaric said the monsters I’m fighting are dysies. They are smaller yet swifter than the zenzens and like to slowly kill their enemies. Their weak points are their necks.’ She told herself as she eyed the sparkling portal.

Stumbling back, I crouched down, ready to attack, “What in the name of Loki are you doing? Go now before I change my mind and kick you, sorry little ass!” Arcane stood between us, blocking my view of her, and his eyes bored into mine. His fingertips had turned to long black talons, and almost black eyes focused only on me. Why the fucking hell did his beast interfere in this!?
