The Architecture of Us

The Architecture of Us

After several minutes of intense work, a section of the wall collapsed inward, revealing a narrow, dark opening. They squeezed through the gap and found themselves in a small, windowless room that hadn't appeared on any of the official city blueprints or historical surveys. It wasn't a storage closet or a utility room; it was a sanctuary. Shelves carved directly into the stone lined the walls, filled with dozens of old, leather-bound journals and bundles of letters tied with faded, brittle silk ribbons.

Forever mine

It dropped. The descent was sickeningly fast. The golden light of the upper floors gave way to a harsh, flickering fluorescent blue. When the doors finally hissed open, the temperature plummeted. The Sub-Basement of Lost Things They stepped out into a cavernous archive. This wasn't a library; it was a warehouse of anomalies. Rows of glass cases stretched into the darkness, containing artifacts that defied the laws of the First Moon. A clock that ran backward, ticking in sync with a heart that wasn't there.

SECRETS OF THE PAST

SECRETS OF THE PAST

“You don’t get to interrogate me.” “Then give us a reason not to,” he replied coldly. Emma stepped forward quickly. “Stop. This is exactly what he wants.” But it was already happening, the cracks, the doubt. The fractures in their trust. Marcus shook his head, stepping away from Lena. “I don’t even know what to believe anymore.” Lena’s voice broke. “So you think I’m lying?” “I think we’re all hiding something,” he said. The words hung in the air like a challenge. Emma felt tears sting her eyes.

Claimed By The Vampire King

Claimed By The Vampire King

If the archives held the truth, we were sitting on a ticking time bomb. "Take us to the archives," Caius commanded. "Now." The trip to the archives was a blur. The library was a massive, subterranean labyrinth that smelled of dust, rot, and concentrated magic. We didn't bother with the lights; I just willed the blue glow of my own energy to flare, illuminating rows and rows of rotting, leather-bound tomes.

THE LUNA HE NEVER TRULY KNEW

THE LUNA HE NEVER TRULY KNEW

A deafening impact echoed outside, the sound of something massive striking stone with enough force to crack foundations, to shake mountains, to announce the arrival of something that should not exist in the world of the living. Heavy footsteps. Many of them. Drawing closer with the inexorable certainty of a tide that could not be turned back, of a storm that could not be outrun. Marcus looked around the archive that had been his sanctuary, his refuge, the place where he had come to seek answers and found only more terrible questions. The ancient scrolls that lined the walls seemed to lean toward him in the dimming light, their secrets pressing against his consciousness like whispers in a lan

Bonds By Blades

--- THE ARCHIVE BELOW The floor didn’t open into a tunnel. It opened into lightless storage. A vertical drop lined with floating fragments of paper, metal plates, and memory shards suspended like ash in still air. Kael stared down. “What is that?” he asked. Rhydian’s voice dropped. “The original archive layer.” Kael looked at him sharply. “That exists under the academy?” “It didn’t,” Rhydian corrected. “Until it was hidden.” The entity stepped closer to the opening.

Chapter One starts with one giant, somewhat incoherent, run-on sentence. That tells you everything you need to know about the rest of the book. Maybe I'll come back and try to read it again if it gets some series editing, but it would be crazy to pay money for this.

I read this book before, or at least most of it. I know I read it before probably a year ago. but I was not able to complete it then, so now I'm finally getting to finish it! this book has quite a few different scenarios that happen to them. A lot of off the wall crazy stuff!

THE CRIMSON MOON PACT

THE CRIMSON MOON PACT

"What I'm about to show you should not, by rights, ever need to leave this archive. I pray to whatever gods still watch over this kingdom that we are not already too late to make sure it doesn't." He led them deeper into the archive's oldest wing, past shelves that grew progressively more ancient and dust-laden the further they walked, toward a sealed chamber that required three separate keys and a spoken phrase Corvain would not repeat aloud in front of them, and Wren felt the bond between her and Alaric humming taut with shared apprehension, both of them understanding, without needing to say it aloud, that whatever waited behind that final door was likely to confirm the worst of what they

The Shadows of Archon

The Shadows of Archon

She opened it and read it. My dear Cass much has happened by now, and I am sorry I’m not there to witness your life. I wanted to celebrate your triumphs and comfort you in your defeats. But know I love you deeply. This book is my family’s grimoire and family tree. Yes both your parents could do magic, but my talent is only passed down to those with amber eyes. Since you are reading this I’m guessing you have my eyes. Learn the book well and hide your true identity for there is much turmoil in the land. The time will come when you will take the throne of Archon and bring peace and justice back to the land. Rule wisely and most importantly know that I am proud of you.
