I relish in the feeling as I flutter my eyes close, breathing out deeply. I have never felt this way in a very, very long time. And this… all this…. I am still trying to wrap my head around it all. I open my eyes to search around for any bathing soap I can use. Just when I turn first to my right, I spot some fat bottles of shower gel, hair shampoo, and a bubble bath sponge sitting pretty on a rack. There they are. Aunt Gaia must have kept them here for me. Carefully, I take out one of the shower gel bottles and the sponge off the rack. I squeeze an ample quantity of the liquid shower gel onto the bubble bath sponge before I keep the bottle back on the rack.

The bathroom was ridiculously huge. It was a plainly painted white room, with tiny patches of gold at strategic locations. Steam curled lazily in the air. Lavender scented candles flickered at the four corners of the room. And sitting right in the center was a large tub already filled with warm, foamy water, bubbles stacked high like clouds. Of course the system would do something like this. I bet it is some kind of a trap, aimed at making players miss their deadline. I sank into the bath with a sigh so deep it felt like my soul was leaving my body.

It was a kiss which spoke a thousand words. When we pulled apart, Julian gazed at me for a few more seconds before giving me a nod, clearing his throat and taking a step back. We shared a small smile and I take the towel when he offers it before I quietly make my departure to the bathroom. I closed the door behind me and my heart leaped when I turn around. Candles decorated the huge, square tub. Bubbles sat on top. The water was dyed deep blue, probably thanks to a bath bomb. White heart shaped soap confetti decorated the small mountains of foam. I think I actually moaned a little.

Right now, I needed to unwind and wash away my stress. A beep from the tub indicated that it was full, and I glanced around for something to place in the bath. My gaze caught a bottle labelled LIQUID ROSE QUARTZ, which I thought was a stone, not something to pour into a bath. I skimmed the label, scoffed at its claims to enhance love, and tipped half the liquid into the water. It turned a flamingo pink, and strawberry-scented bubbles rose from its surface and popped like warm champagne.

She entered her new bedroom and went straight to the bathroom. “I hope Jynelle has the good shit,” Arianna mumbled to herself as she took stock of the bathroom toiletries. “Yes,” Arianna hissed as she eyeballed the expensive lotion that she couldn’t get enough of the last time she visited. Arianna started a bubble bath and threw in a handful of bath oil pearls into the water as well. Arianna found candles underneath the sink and lit them. “I’m so fucked up,” Arianna chuckled to herself as her mind instantly flitted to the time she massaged Pierce in the spa. It seemed like everything Arianna did reminded her of Pierce.

Bonus Chapter 32 – Slow Worship in the Tub (Later Years, Empty-Nest) Eli POV The bathroom had become our sanctuary over the years. Steam curled thick in the air, carrying the soothing lavender of the bubble bath and the faint, comforting vanilla from the beeswax candle flickering on the marble sink. The fairy lights—strung years ago along the wide mirror frame, looped around the tub’s edge, and draped in soft arcs across the ceiling—glowed steady and golden. Their reflections danced on the water’s surface, turning every ripple into liquid light and wrapping the entire room in a warm, intimate cocoon.

Finally, I grabbed my current read and a sizable glass of wine. I lit the candles and dimmed the lights, turning on some calm music on the waterproof speaker that Lana had gotten me for my birthday last year. Finally, I added the pièce de résistance—the bath bomb. I watched with giddy glee as it bobbed and fizzed in the water, violet and pink clouds pluming off it like an aura. I undressed, sliding into the water just as flower petals started to break off from the fizzing bath bomb. It smelled like freesia, honey, and vanilla. When those fragrances blended with the lavender, I was in absolute heaven.

Aurelia’s POV There is nothing like a long, scalding bath after several days of marathon sex. I stretched my legs and yawned, sliding deeper into the lilac-scented water until steam curled around my face and flower petals tickled my shoulders and knees. The tub was one of those huge claw-foot beasts, and I let my toes wiggle at the porcelain, sighing as the heat soaked clear through my bones. I tipped my head and admired my ink, bright colors winding over my upper arms, ribs, hips, thighs, even the tops of my feet. All seamless, high-quality work from artists I’d flown across the world to find. I smiled at my own skin and sank back.

“The bath is through there. You have twenty minutes.” The bath was ridiculous. Like, genuinely absurd. The tub was carved from black stone, big enough to swim in, and filled with water that smelled like lavender and something else rosemary, maybe, or sage. Steam rose in lazy curls, and for a moment, Selene just stood there, staring at it. When was the last time she’d had a hot bath? A real one, not a bucket of lukewarm water in the kitchen? She stripped quickly, sinking into the water with a sigh that came from somewhere deep in her soul. The heat soaked into her bones, easing tension she hadn’t realized she was carrying.

My assistant informed me with excitement. The contract was a multi-billion dollar contract. More that two hundred companies had been on this project but we are grateful that it was awarded to us. Even though I don't feel like going out today, I just have to force myself to go to the office because of this contract. I dragged myself up and went into the bathroom to take my bath. I filled the bathe tub with warm water and add some L 'Occitane Relaxing and Foaming Lavender Bubble Bath, it helps me relax because that is what I need right now.
