An Odious Blackmail

An Odious Blackmail

Black hole. Hamish was looking at the woman who was lying on his couch with a frown on her face. Or rather, the thief... He had carried her into his living room and then he had looked for anything on her to identify her but she had no papers so he had to take a picture of her to send to a friend to search in the American databases... He would like to have a drink but he was afraid that the young woman would run away... He wondered why he was unable to call the police... That's what all normal people do after discovering a thief in their house...

If The Crown Fits

If The Crown Fits

When it was done, it faced us again with a stone cold expression. “I don’t know what’s more horrifying. The fact that Rose thinks that I am a female bunny or that PRINCE Ace was laughing.” The black cat glared at the bunny warningly before looking back at us. “In any case, one of you better keep an eye on her. We have to find a way out of this dark forest. There’s something here that makes me uneasy.” It says and wrinkles its snout making its whiskers rise in the process. I wanna touch it. I wanna touch its whiskers. But knowing cats, it would probably scratch me.

I love this book and I'm sad to see it end. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't write a few chapters between this one and the last one to cover so many questions I now have. I still recommend this book.

Overall, very good story line. I feel some of the characters have developed more than others throughout the storyline but I really enjoy the book. It’s a fun roller coaster. Would definitely read this book again. Can’t wait for the ending. 💛

Fatal Summer 1987

Fatal Summer 1987

What's wrong with me? I hear the clock ticking. It’s a cute little black clock with big white eyes, and the tail moves back and forth. The clock is a black cat; the eyes roll and the tail moves. As the clock ticks, its rhythmic sound seems to amplify the confusion and doubt swirling in her mind. She wonders if she will ever find someone who can ignite that same intense connection she had with Layla, regardless of their gender. The clock's playful resemblance to a black cat serves as a reminder of the mysterious and unpredictable nature of love and attraction.

Seducing the Enemy.

Seducing the Enemy.

"Fine! I'll eat 'Ultraman' again... And what's with that face? Did you sleep well? You look tired... Are you okay?" "Huh?... Well, I stayed up a bit... But it's nothing serious..." "Sure?" Sotomayor stroked his face right on his dark circles. "Dark circles don't suit your handsome face!" "Don't touch me! Go have breakfast!" He ordered, removing Sotomayor's hands and turning away so as not to see her. "Oriental Gray: Why do you call yourself Black Cat?... Black Cat: Because I'm a cat with nowhere to go. There's no place for a black cat that brings bad luck... Oriental Gray: Could it be that you've come across the wrong owner?"

Of Frost and Fire

Of Frost and Fire

{9} This latter was a remarkably large and beautiful animal, entirely black, and sagacious to an astonishing degree. In speaking of his intelligence, my wife, who at heart was not a little tinctured with superstition, made frequent allusion to the ancient popular notion, which regarded all black cats as witches in disguise. Not that she was ever serious upon this point—and I mention the matter at all for no better reason than that it happens, just now, to be remembered. Pluto—this was the cat’s name—was my favorite pet and playmate. I alone fed him, and he attended me wherever I went about the house. It was even with difficulty that I could prevent him from following me through the streets.

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

Then, this must be the misfortune cat. Dad once told me that the misfortune cat was also known as the unlucky cat. They were born with a strong power that comes with a strong curse. At some certain fixed point of their age, the misfortune cat would witness the death of their parents. The darker their fur colour, the stronger they are as well as their ‘curse’. And the deadliest one dad said that he had ever seen was coloured obsidian black and yet this one— —is perfect black. Even darker compared to Vanta-black.

Blood and spells

Blood and spells

Being surrounded by supernaturals draped in all black bummed me out. I personally don't have a problem with the colour black, neither do I have to worry about entombment. But knowing Kate was the reason they were all gathered there, seeing those hypocritical witches bare out their minds did make my head spin. There must have been people who genuinely cared about Kate, but the counterfeit ones must have surpassed the original ones.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

"Alright, Mr. Lloyd, I know he screwed up, but now's not the time to start pointing fingers. What the hell was that thing that attacked us?" Andrew said coldly, "A rare black tiger—in remote areas, they're also called mountain tigers. This type of large cat hasn't been heard of for many years." Andrew replied coolly, "A rare black tiger. In remote areas, they're sometimes called Dire Tiger. This type of large cat hasn't been heard of for many years. Back in the last century in our country's northeastern regions, these things were as notorious as black bears. "And when it came to eating people, Dire Tigers were even more feared than bears."

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Mated to the Sadistic Prince

Mated to the Sadistic Prince

“It was by chance.” “No, it wasn’t.” “It was…” “Really?” ~Flashback~ It started with a cat. A big black cat, I owned. As a kid, no one liked to play with the Dark Prince. Parents warned their children to stay away from me, because of my inability to control my darkness. My cat was a soul eater. It was the only friend I had. When it was discovered, Queen Zoraida made men eliminate it. I sobbed the day it died.
