From the OR to Prison

From the OR to Prison

“Your inability to distinguish right from wrong is itself a form of irresponsibility toward patients. “Who’s to say you won’t be the next Tawnie Lowe?” Three years later, I had become a renowned expert in the field. Meanwhile, Tawnie made headlines again. She was dead. She died that very night she was released from prison, stabbed to death by Matthew’s family. He had been the only university graduate in his family. Yet, fresh out of school and just starting his internship, he was sent behind bars. His family was consumed by hatred for Tawnie for ruining their precious son.

Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams

V PRISON, a system most men fear and spend half their life and wealth running from. For some it can be a place that signals the end in a man’s journey, while for the twisted ones like me… Yes! Have never feigned being normal or even liking things that were anything less than average. Which means prison isn’t a cage that can be used to bind a monster of my kind.. Cages only work when the animal doesn’t understand the structure. And I do!

Design of Fate

Design of Fate

JACKSON So much change occurred over the years. It was the difference between night and day in some respects. It was not easy for Imeela and I to make the changes that needed to occur. However, we were both really fucking stubborn, refusing to give up. One of the biggest deterrents that we had in place was the prison that nobody wanted to be thrown into. It made them consider whether or not it was really worth the risk because proved that we would do everything in our power to seek out those breaking the laws that were clearly set in place.

I have enjoyed the supernatural diversity in this universe. I thoroughly enjoyed the author's take on Fae as seen through "Fated Soul - Fated Light". I loved learning about the Nabellos and sphinxes in "Fated Power - Fated Destiny". My favorite are the vampires in this book.

I love all of the books in the Fated universe. I am loving this sequel even more than I loved 'His Hunt For Redemption'. Jackson and Zeus are perfect for Imeela. I also love all of the twists and turns when it comes to dealing with the Precoza coven. I can't wait for Kalen's story next.

Prisoner

Prisoner

"We are ready to get out of this disgusting place." The news hit them all at once; they didn't expect that kind of information. The dream of someday getting out of prison was one that all three teenagers shared, life was hard behind the thick bars, and it was even harder if you were there unfairly. The three boys could only imagine five percent of what the world was like and the freedom of living in it. "It's impossible to get out of here, Jack," Annette's dry voice brought everyone back to reality. "It's not," he affirmed "this time, it's going to work," and he assured with a slight smile.

Alpha Xander's Human Fated Mate

Alpha Xander's Human Fated Mate

maybe 3 feet long. Prison smells like the corpse of a dead animal used to house the lost souls of unwanted people—neglect, corrosion, and decay mixed with the fear, oppression, and loneliness that come with incarceration. Prison reeks of thousands upon thousands of people from diverse cultural, ethnic, and hygienic backgrounds, confined to endure a hostile environment plagued with dehumanizing factors. You can smell the blood, sweat, and tears that stain moldy mattresses and prison blues, or the garbage and filth that litter the catwalks and gun rails of the cell blocks.

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

POV: Wolfy Every prison has a flaw. Architects design for structural integrity. They reinforce walls with Barzil-steel. Install dampener fields to neutralize magic. Program locks with rotating encryption keys. But they always forget the variable that cannot be engineered. The human element. Usually, the flaw was greed. I sat on the cold, damp stone of my cell. My back perfectly straight. I closed my eyes—not to sleep, but to access the archive. File: House Vane. Financial Records, Year 309.

The CEO's Puzzling Obsession

The CEO's Puzzling Obsession

The richness of the prison was evident in every detail, from the architecture to the amenities available within its walls. The inner space of the prison reflected a semblance of a luxurious lifestyle. Lavish cells, far from the cramped and dingy confines associated with traditional prisons, provided a degree of comfort and privacy. Each cell boasted modern furnishings, clean linens, and personal bathrooms, attempting to maintain a semblance of normalcy within the confines of incarceration.

I Never Regretted Leaving You

I Never Regretted Leaving You

"Jade, Dad couldn't protect you in the past. But now that Dad is back, it's impossible for those disreputable things to bully you anymore." He suddenly stood up and said, "Victoria and her daughter, I will take care of you. As for Nathan, I will take everything away from him, and then you can take revenge however you want." Thea, “..." "Oh." Prison. The prisoners received education in the library. For these highly intelligent criminals, most of the books they read were literature books that cleanse the soul or economics books related to their interests. Only No. 13, he sat gracefully in a wheelchair, with a psychology book resting on his lap.

i think the author needs to focus on finishing books rather than leaving lots of unfinished ones that leave your readers hanging and we do not want that. you would gain more followers and readers if you can concentrate on one story at a time and finish each book. more ongoing than completed books
SillyRabbit
This is one heck of a story. It has romance, betrayal, revenge, time travel, robots and tons of dramatic twists and turns. There are some translation mistakes here and there but overall, it’s well written.

"Did I kill him? If it was self-defense, I know a good lawyer who specializes in such cases. He will defend you well. Don't worry; I'll make sure you don't go to prison. Prison is hell." She gave him a warm smile. "Don't worry, sir. I won't go to prison because I'm innocent." But in her mind, it was more like, "Don't worry, sir. I won't go to prison because you're not innocent either." "Those officers don't care if you're innocent or not. Once you're a suspect with no one to prove your innocence, they'll treat you as a criminal and throw you into that hell called prison," he spat bitterly. "Prison destroys one's soul, taints you. A day in prison feels like eternal torment. It's not a good pl

FALLING FOR THE DANGEROUS EX-BOYFRIEND

FALLING FOR THE DANGEROUS EX-BOYFRIEND

“Ah… that damn bastard. I don't regret killing him. Never mind killing him, I even intended to mutilate him if the cops didn't come first to pull me from that damned rat's body that was run over by a car. His intestines flew out when I ripped open his stomach.” “Then you are lucky to only get a fifteen-year sentence.” Alex chuckled while sweeping his eyes across the prison which was a complete contrast to his appearance. In the past, that place felt strange to him. He didn't even want to stay in that place anymore. Moreover, being imprisoned with rat criminals. To him, the rotten people there were fools who couldn't cheat to escape punishment. But after living in prison for eleven months, th
