The specific quiet of someone arriving at an answer they were hoping would be different. “A skin walker,” she said. “Like the one who wore Marta’s face this morning. The network had more than one. The one who wore Marta’s face was Marcus’s asset. This one is older. More practiced.” She held my gaze. “The kind of practiced that comes from doing something for a very long time under the direction of someone who needed a specific capability and invested in developing it.”

Before it could enter a snarl was heard and bones snapping followed by a bone chilling scream made my blood run cold as the skinwalkers body fell infront of the cave and was tossed inside it,. "Come out little one, I will not harm you." a deep and comanding voice could be heard outside the cave which made my bones shake aggressively. "I am not a skinwalker if that is what you are worried about, I am of like you." He says as my breathing evens out. I come out from hiding and the skin walkers body was no longer a body but a sack of bones and blood, it was disgusting.

The flames grew bigger, and soon the dark energy surrounding Clarabelle vanished. Clarabelle went unconscious, and the red flames dissipated.
