Are There Fireflies In Washington Novels & Stories

The fireflies are flying outside in the sunset as if they were series of small light bulbs or stars, twinkling on the twilight. They were flying towards me and I couldn’t help but smile. It’s beautiful. I want to cry! Oh, gosh! I waved my hand and they moved towards the direction of where I was waving. The fireflies were in sync with movements. “Wow…Is this…even possible?”

I can still see the road because of the light coming from the moon and there are street lights nearby. I had my camera ready when I felt that what I was looking forward to was coming soon. Just a few minutes I didn't make a mistake. One by one the fireflies came. They continue to fly through the air. I could clearly see their beautiful and glowing wings. My period has not seen anything like this. The last time I witnessed their group was when we were young. Keeion and I often hang out here outside to watch for the arrival of fireflies. Emmeline spent the next several minutes chasing fireflies with Lyra, their laughter mingling in the warm night air. The glowing insects seemed almost playful, dancing just out of reach before landing gently on outstretched palms. Zavian watched from a respectful distance, leaning against one of the luminescent trees. Vespera stood nearby, her posture gradually relaxing as she observed the genuine joy on Emmeline's face. Finally, breathless and smiling, Emmeline settled onto a stone bench beside a fountain that sparkled with bioluminescent water and Lyra climbed up beside her, still clutching a firefly in her cupped hands.
