Another gunshot rang in the air. “You’re acting like a kid right now, Jin. Shut your mouth and get in line,” my eyes widened when another roar echoes in the forest. “The fuck,” Nate frowned, looking around. Almost everyone had taken out a weapon of some sort, and I didn’t even think that far. Not that I had a weapon to begin with. “This isn’t a jungle. What the fuck did we just get ourselves into?” Hae-Jin spoke up, clutching a gun with both hands, surveying the area. I stayed closer to them, not knowing what to do.

I look over at Nate and see him holding an AK 47 and I nearly choke. "We're not bringing that." I said sternly. "Why not?" He asked as if it weren't obvious. "We need handguns, we can't be obvious that we have a gun. And there is no possible way to hide that so forget about it." I say as I close the trunk. Nate obliges and puts the gun away. But then comes back with many different handguns and begins to hand some to Ella and Aubrey. "There not coming." I say blankly. "Yes we are." Ella argues.

I never imagined someone would still be using swords in this era. Kuroyuki is different. Instead of guns and bullets— her spears are almost as fast as a bullet and powerful like a bazooka, so it’s not a problem. “…What do you want?” Kuroyuki uttered with a glare. That poor guy flinched for a moment and stood at his place. “U-Uh, I… Ehem! Mind letting me talk to him for a moment?” He shouted. “Huh? Me?” I pointed at myself with a confused look.

I threw larger balls of electricity like chidori( Naruto fans can relate) toward them. "Now is our turn" the assumed leader said as they cocked their guns. They started shooting tranquilizers at me. Shit I am gullible I realized there wasn't object to hide behind. A tranquilizer hit me as I turned my back to run towards the van. I stopped hi and struggled to take simple but heavy steps forward. My eyes felt heavy and i felt my whole nervous system brewing down as I fell on my knees. I struggled to raise stand up. But the more I struggled the weaker I got. Suddenly the van exploded and I got hit by the wave which sent me flying to the opposite direction then black........

“Her last signal came from there.” I nodded, acknowledging his words. “Tell everything to the police. I'm going there right now,” I said before pivoting to the door. “Wait!” Sakura grabbed my hand. I stopped and looked at her. “Do you have a gun?” she asked and sucked in a breath. “Lilly said that those guys had guns.” Perfect. Fucking perfect. I cleared my throat and nodded. “I'll take my gun with me.” “Just out of curiosity,” Tim interjected, frowning. “How did you bring the gun... here, to Japan?”

The blur moved and moved until the ninja dude ran out of bullets. He hid the now empty gun on his body and whipped out a wicked looking but curved blade out of nowhere. It was shorter than a sword but longer than any knife I’ve seen. He turned around slowly until he was facing me. Even from about seven or so feet away, I was able to make out black irises. They stared me down coldly, no hint of emotion in them. I gulped, my fear ratcheting up a notch as he simply stared at me. The trees in the forest rustled ominously and a few birds took flight, and somewhere in my periphery, I was certain I saw a blur of black.

It wasn’t much and she hasn’t progressed to more important phases of training. Conrad nodded before taking a seat opposite her. He drank the coffee and ate some cookies. They went out and looked for the hall mentioned yesterday. Apparently, they do have a training hall. It’s enclosed, ensuring less chances that they would be seen by outsiders. They were greeted by a guard and were let in. Conrad smirked after finding they actually have a room full of weapons, including guns. They do have them in Snow Mountain but most still prefer fighting in wolf form. Their claws aren’t made for guns.

I sighed and started up the front porch, pissed as hell. "Welcome, boss." It was Kenzo, standing at the bottom of the stairs with a gun strapped to his shoulder. "What's going on?" I quirked my brows at his shoulder. "This?" he asked, pointing to the gun. "Oh, nothing. Tonight, I am joining the men mounting the front porch." "Oh." That was one thing about Kenzo. When the others took knives, he would strap a pistol to his thigh. And when they took shotguns, he would find a way to sneak in a Uzi.

Kirby responded, flipping a page of the novel. "New York had way more matters that you had to deal with, yet, you had no problem dealing with them and still smiling at me. I insist that you tell me what I've done wrong." Kirby finally looked up at Carrie and locked gazes with her for more than thirty seconds, before she returned it to her book. Flipping open another page, she said, "I saw your guns." Carrie didn't think much about it before she replied, "Its for protection. And it's also licensed."

Just when Victoria was walking out, she caught a glimpse of a special present with the unique emblem of a certain family.
