End Game

End Game

There is a patio on the roof of my building, and while it’s usually occupied, we’re some of the only people up here right now. “It is. But, uh, can you come away from the edge?” Archer places his hands on the thick cement railing. It comes up past his waist but still makes me nervous. “Does this freak you out?” he asks and leans forward just a bit. I squeeze my eyes closed. He laughs and comes back. “Babe, I’m fine. But I won’t scare you. Raising your blood pressure isn’t good for Emma.” “So when I’m not pregnant you plan to freak me out?”

Ace

But inside, in a hidden room accessible only by a code known to a select few, a meeting was taking place that would shape the future of more lives than anyone could imagine. The room was dimly lit, the walls lined with screens displaying information from around the world—stock markets, news reports, surveillance footage, encrypted communications. At the center of the room was a long table, around which sat five individuals, each one representing a different faction of The Tribunal. At the head of the table was a man known only as “The Architect.” He was a figure of mystery, his identity hidden behind layers of false names and facades. To the world, he was a ghost, a man who didn’t exist. But

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

“As you wish!” Amber replied sternly, her tone contradicted her gracious features. As she spoke, she quickly sped to the arena. “Heh heh heh, brother Maxim, how blind could you be? How could you send this little girl to battle with my boy? Do you wish to see her bones get broken?” Ethan said, teasingly. Maxim did not reply, he only stared at Ethan coldly. Brother Albert waited for the two combatants to enter the arena before waving his sleeve. Then, a dome of light washed over the arena. This dome of light served as a protective barrier, preventing any unwanted misfires to exit the arena and potentially damaging the surroundings.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

The Alpha's Reject - Hell Knows No Greater Fury!

He looked worried, like he was concerned about my safety although I wasn't sure if that was the correct meaning. I stopped close to the center of the Arena with Anne some distance away from me and then I heard the announcer speak again. "WELCOME TO THE ARENA!" "THE TIME HAS COME TO PROVE YOURSELF IN NON LETHAL COMBAT!" "THE GOAL IS TO GET YOUR OPPONENT OFF THEIR FEET AND MOUNT THEM FOR AT LEAST A SECOND!" "WHEN YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF THE BELL YOU MAY BEGIN. YOU WILL HEAR THE SOUND OF THE BELL AGAIN ONCE A WINNER HAS EMERGED!"

When Love Finds Its Way Back

When Love Finds Its Way Back

The Auralink main conference hall had been meticulously prepared. What normally served as a space for internal meetings was now a polished press arena, with cameras positioned at every vantage point. At the center of the room, a long conference table held an array of microphones, documents, and nameplates. Behind it, a large digital display featured the Auralink insignia beside a bold announcement: Strategic Collaboration: NULLWRAITH x Vanguard E-Sport Federation.

Mated to My Rival Step Brother

Mated to My Rival Step Brother

I did not respond to that because Coach Vega was already calling Group B to position and the arena had done its collective breath-holding thing again. Aaran Bloodmoon was broad and confident moving across the arena floor. He was one of the older heirs in the competition bracket, built heavier through the chest and shoulders than most, with the particular ease of movement that came from someone who had never once doubted that they belonged in the room they were walking into. Dark red training jacket. Pack insignia visible on the left side. He rolled his wrists as he walked and smiled at the crowd in the benches and a section of them responded to it which he clearly expected. Alex walked to hi

When Love Crosses the Line

When Love Crosses the Line

The air in the boardroom was thick with tension, a weight that pressed down on everyone present. The polished mahogany table reflected the dim overhead lights, each glare slicing across documents and faces with clinical precision. Amara stood beside Liam, her hands clenched lightly, her heart beating like a war drum. She had seen Darren strike before, seen his manipulative schemes unfold with chilling finesse, but tonight, Liam had vowed that the game would change.

The Alpha's Ex-Mate

The Alpha's Ex-Mate

Damon declared, his eyes filled with a mixture of apprehension and disgust. As Damon stood there, bewildered by Arena's display of invulnerability, she suddenly sprang into action. With a speed that defied human comprehension, Arena closed the distance between them in an instant. Her movements were fluid yet powerful, reminiscent of a predator toying with its prey. Damon, caught off guard by Arena's sudden attack, barely managed to summon his own dark energies in defense. He conjured swirling shadows and launched them toward Arena, attempting to ensnare her in a web of malevolent energy. However, Arena anticipated his every move with uncanny foresight, effortlessly evading or dispersing the
