Aries The Beyblade Novels & Stories

For giving me Pepper, I owe the Goddess everything. I enter Bastian's realm and see blue and red wings in the distance. Laryn and his family must be visiting Bastian. They know why I'm here. The males approach me first and like we did when young, we charge each other and spin out of the way at the last second. The children laugh as we entertain them. It's been thousands of years since we've been happy enough to play this game from our youth. "Congratulations, Tahr," Bastian shouts after flipping upside down to avoid my charge.

It had a polished and shiny white blade, with a few mysterious inscriptions carved onto it. “That’s the Barelit Sword.” “Although Bareilly is only at the Petit Celestial Rank’s peak, his self-made Sword Path, the Absolute Sword Art, is terrifying. His combat power is insane when his Absolute Sword Art is combined with the Barelit Sword.” “He can even kill a powerhouse at the Great Celestial Rank’s late stage with just one blow.” “That being said, he’d be completely drained of his energy with just one blow and become vulnerable.” “One blow should be more than enough.”

Thora told her with a look of loathing. “ A shame, truly,” Aralu said, her words drenched in sarcasm. She looked past Arai and locked eyes with Acacius. “ And what say you, handsome lad? Are you willing to fight alongside a member of a royal Ishtar house?” Acacius looked at the giant centipede and slowly nodded, activating his Ryuijin. “ You two can fight as a team. I’ll fight with Thora,” Arai said, activating her Tribal Trait. Thora grumbled as her Kumoijin replaced her normal eyes. Aralu noticed the Abnormals, each awakening their Tribal Traits, and smirked.

“No.” The flame presses harder, trying to crush my will to dust. I move forward anyway. I will not kill her. Not for prophecy. Not for gods. The fire bows. --- I step from the altar’s heart, smoke curling from my skin. In my hand — a bone blade, heavier than steel, runes crawling its length. One word pulses with light: Nyxara. The beast lowers its head. “Then you are bound to her, in life and ruin. Carry that blade well… for the gods will call it blasphemy.”

We all run as fast as our legs will take us. “We will get there faster if we shift,” Bain growls. “Can you suddenly hold a weapon in your paws now?” I grunt back at him. “Your wolf complaining too?” Aries asks, grinning, eager to get to Mazy and kill the motherfuckers holding her. “Yeah.” Aries twirls the dagger I gave Blaze. “I snatched it up when I watched Blaze save your ass.” Mazy’s screams echo up the stairs. Aries and I look at each other for a split second, and we both push to get to her faster.

_“The blade must be claimed before it claims the world.” The vision cut off as fast as it came. I was on my knees, gasping, with Darius and Kade both reaching for me. “What did you see?” Darius demanded, panic in his voice for the first time since I’d met him. “A darkness,” I whispered. “Ancient. It called Aria ‘the blade’. It wants her. And it said… it said the blade must be claimed before it claims the world.” Elias, who’d been silent this whole time, stepped forward. “Then I won’t let it,” he said fiercely. “I’m the shield. I’ll stand in front of it. I’ll stand in front of her.”

We train with blades. Arielle’s hand flew to her own hilt, her gaze snapping to Ethan, who was watching them with so much intensity.

The invisible thread between her— And it. She felt it. Clear now. Strong. But not unbreakable. Nyra guided her. Cut it. Aria clenched her jaw. “Together.” Together. The silver light surged again— But this time— It didn’t explode outward. It turned inward. Sharp. Precise. A blade. Aria focused everything she had— And struck the connection. The reaction was immediate. The creature recoiled. Violently. Its grip loosened— Then shattered completely.

Once he was on the floor, she positioned herself on top of him, pinning his arm between her thighs in some move Lexi had only seen in MMA. He managed to buck her off with some help from Alfie. 'Hey... but... isn't he on their side?' Lexi wondered. Everything was happening so fast, as if they were operating in a different temporal dimension to her. She was stuck in the land of perpetual first gear, confused as to everything that was going on around her. She vaguely felt someone pulling at her back followed by the sound of scissors snipping. 'Scissors?' she thought. 'Surely not. Who would just happen to have scissors?'

Something like fear and determination that came with a silent promise of protection. The colossal being shook its humongous limbs, sending a shockwave through the entire valley. Rocks and trees slammed into the ground around them. The very earth beneath their feet shook. Aria’s anchor flared. Silver light shot from her hands, forming intricate, spiraling patterns in the air. The geometry seemed to respond—lines pulsing, twisting in rhythm with her energy. Dax casted Aria a look of approval as he rushed ahead of her. His claws extended, lashing out at the colossal being’s closer reaching forms. Each strike sent arcs of black lightning and silver fire against the changing forms of the being.
