I stopped running. I planted my feet and reached deep into the core of my being, to the place where the light wasn't just a weapon, but a fundamental part of who I was. I raised my arms, and a massive, ethereal bow of light materialized in my hands.
The weapon felt both foreign and familiar, as if I'd wielded it a thousand times before. I pulled back the string, and an arrow of pure, shimmering gold appeared, humming with energy.
