I shifted uneasily behind Archer.
Not only because of the disrespect but the fact that Archer forbade me from talking so I can't clap back at this bitch.
“Apologize. Now.” His words were slow, deliberate, and laced with warning. I was surprised that he was taking my side.
Crystal raised a brow, her lips curling into a smirk. “Apologize? To her? Please, Archer, don’t insult me.”
“Crystal,” He said, stepping closer, his voice lowering dangerously. “I don’t repeat myself. Apologize, or I’ll make sure you regret ever opening your mouth.”
