I shifted uneasily behind Archer. Not only because of the disrespect but the fact that Archer forbade me from talking so I can't clap back at this bitch. “Apologize. Now.” His words were slow, deliberate, and laced with warning. I was surprised that he was taking my side. Crystal raised a brow, her lips curling into a smirk. “Apologize? To her? Please, Archer, don’t insult me.” “Crystal,” He said, stepping closer, his voice lowering dangerously. “I don’t repeat myself. Apologize, or I’ll make sure you regret ever opening your mouth.”

She gave him a supportive smile. “Oh, by the way…” Arnold said, shifting a little awkwardly as he looked at Aleah and then back at Hunter. “I just wanted to apologize for how I acted when you first arrived. I was too arrogant and ended up disrespecting both of you,” he admitted, looking genuinely remorseful. “Don’t worry about it,” Aleah said with a kind smile. “Still—” Arnold started, but Hunter cut him off. “Like Aleah said, let it go. Focus on your wife and kid instead. Don’t waste time doing things that’ll hurt them,” Hunter said, his voice firm but understanding.

Rey's question made Ara choke. Immediately, Rey took a drink and helped Ara drink the water. "Be careful, honey. Does your throat hurt? If it does, I'll get you some medicine." He said, massaging Ara's nape. "No need, Mr. Rey," said ara, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, Mr. Rey, I'm sorry," he replied, crying. Rey is increasingly confused, why is Ara apologizing? "What is it?" Of course Ara couldn't explain the reason why she apologized.

She looked at him sadly, seeing how sick he was and pale. "I've caused so much sadness within your life and still I am doing so," Archer examined her sad face. Paris nodded with a warm smile. Archer patted the side of his bed instructing her to sit beside him. Paris sat. "I'm sorry that I've been using my injury to get you back," apologized Archer. "If you want to be with Greyson I understand, as much as it hurt me. I will have to let you go."

He was so sincere, and Raellyn could feel that there was a bit of regret and deep sadness in his words. But it had to be like this. No matter what, this was the best ending for them both.

But that was progress. And now… they were surprised; they probably never expected us, especially Aldrich, to apologize and even go as far as bowing to them.
