My heart skipped a beat, my tears moist right then. I dropped to a crouch and held him, pressing my ear against his chest again. I could hear his heartbeat, thumping powerfully through his thin shirt. It was such a familiar sensation. It was Stan's heartbeat. As I closed my eyes, my tears flowed ever so quietly. We stayed like that for a while, and as I wiped my tears, I held Nathan firmly in my arms once more. "Please live a good life with Stan's heart." - Nathan walked with me to the gates of the orphanage, but I never once turned to look at him again.

Just when she turned to face me with a bloody face, I brought out my claws and dug it into her chest. “You made the mistake of underestimating me, Hannah,” I spat, feeling her heart beating under my very claws. “I am no longer the same girl who was naive and weak. Logan clicked the remote, and suddenly, a transparent, glowing orb appeared in the middle of the city. It looked almost like something from an anime or a sci-fi film, as if a force field had enclosed the entire city. Inside the orb, images began to form—buildings, shops, schools, streets. The city's history slowly unfolded in front of their eyes. First, thirty years ago, then twenty years ago, ten years ago, and finally, present-day Ashenford. The city's rapid development played out before them, evoking memories of the past and leaving everyone in awe.

I picked up a shard and pressed it to my skin, carving into my flesh. In this kingdom, even without a disowning deed, a child who cut their own bones and flesh may sever ties with their parents. Blood pooled around me, and the room spun as darkness crept in. Through the haze, a voice filled with pity echoed in my ears. "Congratulations, Elara the Astral Maiden. You have severed all mortal ties. Your astral power will now be fully restored. Prepare to return to the Astral Sanctuary." Outside, an alarmed voice shouted, "Has Elara admitted her mistakes yet? What's that smell of blood?"

The book had a thick glossy cover and had the picture of a beautiful palace on it. The book was not very thick. And the name of the book was written on it with bold letters 'The History of Elysium' "Elysium?",asked Zane. "Is that a kingdom too?" "Let's find out",said Laurel, taking the book from Natalie. She kept it on the table, and asked everyone to pull out a seat and sit down. Laurel opened the book and started reading.
