Apollo and Artemis chorused, planting kisses on Summer's cheeks. "Thank you, Tito Handsome. I love you a million, million times!" Summer chirped, snatching her gift from Apollo before turning to Artemis. "Thank you, Tita Goddess. I love you a million, million and gazillion times!" she declared, accepting Artemis's present. Apollo's brow furrowed in mock indignation. "Why don't I get a gazillion times?" he grumbled, and Summer and Artemis exchanged a knowing glance. "Girl power!" they exclaimed in unison, erupting into giggles. I joined their laughter, a warmth spreading through me.

"Lauren, look at him! He's a delivery guy! How could he possibly get a real antique?!" Lauren couldn't believe it either, but she trusted her eyes. "I'm not mistaken. I've rarely seen pieces this fine, even in my father's collection. It's the real deal." A heavy silence fell over the entire crowd. As everyone stared at me in shock, Yuri suddenly chuckled cockily. "Lauren, he's got you fooled! I bet he's a thief! "If his family had any real wealth, would he show up on a junk motorcycle? I know exactly what happened. He must've stolen the porcelain from some rich family while delivering food. Giving it to you as a 'betrothal gift' is just to cover up the crime!"

Artemis says. “If they even do that. So many of my foster parents would pocket the checks they got for us and never use it for us. We would be forced to eat cold leftovers that were in the fridge for too long while they hot fresh meals delivered daily.” All of that sounds bitter coming out of my mouth but they are the hard truths. “Maybe we can make a donation.” Artemis offers. That has my attention fully on him. “Really?” “More money than God remember?” He smirks and climbs out of the car before I can start balling like a baby.

Arte sighed in response, her eyes involuntarily rolling. For a while, they all chatted and had fun. Arte even had a mini fridge in the room and told them to help themselves to snacks and drinks. Apollo waved his hand lighting up the candles. “I want to give you a gift,” he says. “A gift? What for?” I ask, turning back to face him. “You have so much potential little one. I fear it ay be too much for you to handle right now. So I want to take some and put it away for safe keeping. If you feel you need it, you can open it and just absorb it again.” “You want to take my potential and gift it back to me?” I look at him confused. Artemis giggles behind him and he turns back to stare at her. She stops.

Artemis said to him and she took Ava from his hand. “Yes, I did.” He replied to her and walked to the bag. He carried it and handed it to her. Apollo knew it was his turn to carry his little niece. Artemis opened the gift bag, she ran through the bag, Creed got her backstage tickets to the concert of her favorite artists, custom made painting brushes for Apollo, and some other things for Artemis. He really did a thorough investigation on the twins before getting the gifts. Artemis' face lit up as soon as she saw her gifts, she jumped and hugged Creed.

Rhys glared at Amira, then turned his glowering eyes to the Artemis. Artemis snorted. “Because I can.” She walked around them and waved her hand as though they were nothing more than her toys. “You rejected my gift. I knew in the stars it would be tough, but I never expected you to reject what so few have… How conceited.”
