Flameheart; Rise Of An Alpha Magnate

Flameheart; Rise Of An Alpha Magnate

However, it is clear that from the days of yore, these two kinds have always come up with one sinister plot or another. I do not know how Arthur acquired this book but this is a personal book that I am sure was not given out willingly. In actual fact, this book is written like a journal. In it, different projects where the two kinds sort to work with each other, are recorded. I suck in my breath and adjust my posture.

The Wolf’s Bride

The Wolf’s Bride

Arthur was startled but said indignantly, “Guardian! Ever since I joined Brock, I’ve regarded myself as a member of Ethereal Tower, not the Progenitor Emperor of Florence. “I grieve deeply for Brock’s death. Since the Wolf King killed him, he must naturally pay the price. Only then will justice be served!” At that point, Arthur continued, “If not for my inadequate strength, I would’ve killed Andrius personally and come back with his head...” Arthur was indeed a cunning old fox who lived for several centuries. His acting overshadowed even that of Oscar Award winners. Brock seemed to believe him slightly more. “Okay, I’ll believe you this time. You’d best not be lying to me.” He snorted coldly

HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & the last witch of Andora - Book 4

I go to the library where I see Abner Brooks. “Ahh, young Morgan, I’m not surprised to see you here.” He gives me a genuine smile. “I came to look for books on word alchemy, I’m not sure what or if they have any here.” “They do,” He bobs his head in thought, “Not a whole ton but Bear Clans are very spiritual and keep many records of Witch Alchemy.” He leads me to a section in the back and shows me a bookshelf of old and dusty books that look like they haven’t been touched in centuries. If at all. “Knock yourself out, let me know if I can be of any help.”

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

we cleaned up the scattered fabric samples. "A nautical nursery," Arthur mused, holding up a swatch with tiny whales. "Do you think the baby will feel pressured to become a marine biologist?" "Better than feeling pressured to solve fictional compost murders," I retorted, folding a blanket. He pretended to be wounded. "My legacy is secure. Speaking of which..." He disappeared into his study and returned with a thick envelope. "It's finished." I stared at it. "The book?" "The book," he confirmed, placing it in my hands with a mixture of pride and terror. "The Compost Murders of Cedar Cove. Be gentle. Or don't. But be honest."

Alpha Arthur

Alpha Arthur

Chapter 37 Arthur’s POV Justin leads me behind the school’s old greenhouse. It’s a quiet spot, you wouldn't even suspect anyone to be here. “I used to come here, once in a while, just to get away from people.” “You sound like it’s a bad thing,” I observe her tone. Her concern feels so genuine. If I didn’t know better, I would have sworn, with my life, that Justin can’t hurt a fly. “It’s not a bad thing to be around people. It’s a bad thing to be around people who don’t make you feel like you belong with them.” Her tone moves to deeper sadness.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

“Don’t be a freeloader, repay your debts and don’t bother people too much.” “I meant advice for dealing with the Pope.” “Good advice applies to all situations,” said Arthur. “What about the druids?” asked Maurice. “Are they going to cause any trouble?” “They’re harmless,” said Arthur. “Just persistent. Like weeds.” We were at the front door as he herded us through like a wily old sheepdog. “And the giant green brain?” I asked as he began closing the doors on us. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” “Like broccoli,” said Maurice.

Rejecting Mr Alpha

Rejecting Mr Alpha

Alpha Aidan explained as Archer and I joined the group of people huddled around the desk, whilst Darren hurriedly flipped through. “Here it is! The Tale of The Flesh Eaters, written by Arthur Bartley. It is said that Arthur saw these creatures one day which inspired the book.” Darren explained with a smile standing back so we all could see the story he was very proud to find, I mean this was only further validating the claims he’s been making.

Seducing My Husband's Arch-enemy!

Seducing My Husband's Arch-enemy!

But when he looks at Brooks’ face there’s nothing, only careful, measured amusement, the dangerous kind that doesn’t raise its voice because it doesn’t have to. Brooks leans back, folds one hand over his other wrist. “Threatening a man’s kids,” he says, almost conversational. “What an outdated form of intimidation. Then again, it works on strong men the way you are. You do love them.” “You don’t...” Aaron starts, but it’s Brooks who speaks, cutting him off with a casualness that feels like cold water. “I don’t enjoy it. I don’t need to enjoy it.” Brooks taps his finger against the rim of his cup. “I use it. Incentive is a powerful thing, Aaron. And you, my friend, are a very useful instrumen

Reborn to Seduce the Devil CEO

Reborn to Seduce the Devil CEO

David Brooks — VP Procurement. The one Arthur secretly bribed was Mr. David Brooks. I knew because Leo hacked — legally researched — Arthur's offshore account last night and found $200,000 transferred to a shell account that traced to David's wife's boutique in Miami, payment labeled "consulting." Classic Arthur, always bribing the weakest link, always thinking money is love. Leo whispered, "Boss, David Brooks will reject us no matter what we say. Arthur paid him $200K last night. He will say Lin's green tech is not certified."
