The Rejected Wolf Returns

The Rejected Wolf Returns

Zoe stared at the book, her fingers hovering over its worn cover, tracing the cracks in the leather and the faint symbols etched into its spine. It felt… alive. Not in a way she could explain, but there was something ancient about it—something that pulsed beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered. The Book of Life, her heart raced, every answer she had been searching for… could be inside.

The Alpha's Last Bond Breaker

The Alpha's Last Bond Breaker

To a hidden passage. "Here," he said, pressing a stone. It swung inward, revealing stairs. We descended. The chamber was massive. Shelves lined every wall. Books. Scrolls. Artifacts. And in the center, on a stone pedestal— A book. Leather-bound. Ancient. Pulsing with dark magic. "The Grimoire of Bonds," I breathed. Marcus nodded. "Everything she knew. How to create them. Break them. Control them." I reached for it. The moment my fingers touched leather, pain exploded through my arm.

Crimson Bloomed: Ascend

Crimson Bloomed: Ascend

By noon, the porcelain cracked with a sharp snap when she moved it. Aria muttered, "What the hell…" She cleaned it up slowly, deliberately. Anything to keep her hands moving. To keep her from thinking about how it felt like the whole bookstore was… holding its breath. She wandered into the back aisles. The mythology section was a mess — again. Probably some college kid hunting for ancient conspiracies to turn into a thesis. Her fingers skimmed the titles. Worn, faded, some crumbling at the spine. One caught her eye. Legends of the End Times.

My Ascent, Your Descent

My Ascent, Your Descent

Andy quickly rushed over and looked at Terry with a frown. "Isn't it obvious?" Jane glared at me as she gritted her teeth. "This witch must have run to another man the moment she left Boulder Pack. Otherwise, how could a lowly orphan like her possibly pass the screening for the banquet meant for the Lycan King's heir?" Jane's eyes moved between Terry and me, her face full of contempt. "Milly, how shameless can you get?! You'd do anything just to get into the Lycan King's pack!"

Ascend or Be Consumed

Ascend or Be Consumed

Even though I could sense and hear anything from steps away, I didn't realize I had company until a presence loomed behind me. When I finally turned, I found myself staring into the instructor’s widened eyes. “You… you did that?” Feline stammered, his voice tight with disbelief. “Impossible.” Murmurs rippled through the class as students pressed closer, craning their necks to see what I had drawn. Artifact Studies was the only class that we had with Ascendant. It was all about understanding magical weapons, enchanted relics, and objects tied to emotion or fire. I’d come to learn that ASCENDANT are Initiates who have shown real skill. They’re now on the path of cultivation and they’ve done we

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

“Dad says she's just a poor potion maker. Which is not big deal. It does not mean that she is a wizard. And if I think well, that will be your skill limit too… If you're lucky enough to have the memory she has.” The girl, though affected by the boy's words, did not show this. “What are you reading?” Elizabeth got close to him and saw on one of the two pages where the book laid open an image of an odious creature, looking like a giant, with no hair on his head, not even where the eyebrows were supposed to be. But he had a lot of hair on the rest of his body, as if he were an aurochs. “A book for advanced students.” Indeed, the book had on the other page almost as many words as the whole book

Her Three Wicked Mates

Her Three Wicked Mates

Then again, my life wasn’t normal. “As far as what I know about hybrids,” CLAIRE continued, “I know the brainwashing bullshit that VEXX teaches, and I know my own experiences. But I’m trying to find something in one of these books to back up any of what I think is true. We should keep at it.” Apparently, she wasn’t going to tell me her theories. I opened an ancient tome—so old that the pages were elegantly scribed by an individual rather than a machine. The artwork caught my attention first. In the section header was a drawing of a person with a wolf’s head. I read the passage below and sucked in a shallow breath.

His Little Hunter

His Little Hunter

When you hunted apex predators, knowledge was the only equalizer. But something about this collection felt... off. It wasn’t tactical. It was frantic. I shifted a stack of papers. Beneath them lay medical journals about viral transmission. Ancient texts on the transition process. This wasn’t just studying the enemy. She was studying the Change. A thick, leather-bound book sat open near the edge of the desk, an anime-themed bookmark keeping the page. I picked it up, the leather cold in my hand. A tight, sickening knot formed in the pit of my stomach as I read the chapter heading in bold, archaic script.

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

His hair was unkempt and wild, like the mane of a lion. “A token of authority is a seal that belongs to a god. As I mentioned earlier, it is only by getting a letter of recommendation from a god that one could avoid the entrance exams held by the God Academies. This means that having the backing of an Ascender isn’t enough to skip the exams. But there are some Ascenders who are as powerful as gods. These ascenders would be capable of infusing a letter with power that match that of a god. Unfortunately, the rules of the God Academies still stand. Meaning, no matter how powerful an Ascender is, they cannot recommend a student to a God Academy unless they become gods. And the Ascenders have no

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”
