She groaned as she felt a sharp pain in her head. She tried to stand up from the chair she was seated, but she realized her hands were tied, her legs too. She struggled to free herself to no avail. Frustrated, she called out, "Hello, is anyone there?". The door creaked and two boys and a girl appeared. The boys were putting on black hoodies while the girl was putting a blue hoodie. Ashley couldn't see their faces because their hoods covered part of their faces. The girl pulled off her hoodie and Ashley recognized her immediately. It was Claire. She clenched her fist hard at the sight of Claire.

Ashley blushed hard, her face pink and swollen with emotions. "Young lady, Are you an Alpha? Alpha Alfred asked, referring to Ashley. "In flesh and in blood, sir, and all my life, I was groomed to be a bold and strong Alpha female who would be capable of supporting her mate and possibly becoming a Luna in the future," Ashley answered proudly with an aura of authority.

I just need her to get here, and Jakey to finish his bottle, and then I can hop into the shower with my mate. Ashley says. "You are a werewolf too! I mean like in a wolf," she felt stunned. "No, we are not a werewolf….." She declared. "Then who are you?" Selena asked with curiosity. As soon as the door was closed, Ashley got a cup to spit out the water and strengthened her ears to catch the movement outside.

Fernando’s POV I watched from the porch, the morning sun casting long, golden shadows across the gravel driveway. Ashley stood by her modest gray car, a reusable bag of cookies in one hand and a water bottle tucked under her arm. She was meticulously arranging things in the trunk, making room between Henry’s toy dinosaur and a box of juice boxes. Her movements were precise and deliberate. She was always like that, wasn’t she? Precise and controlled like a surgeon on autopilot, dissecting her emotions so nothing ever spilled out.
