Before thirty minutes have fully passed, I see a familiar wolf burst into the clearing. Russet fur and larger than me, with intelligent amber eyes, Austin’s wolf form is magnificent, almost majestic even. I wait for him to shift back before I get to my feet. I’m surprised he came here alone. Maybe he was closer? He moves past me, his body a blur as he rushes towards the dead body. After a few seconds, he sighs, “It’s Marsha.”

Then Damien had moved. He had shifted mid-lunge, fur rippling as bone cracked and reformed. One second he’d been human, the next he’d been a seven-foot nightmare of muscle and teeth, hitting Austin like a freight train. They had crashed through the rotten railing and fallen twelve feet to the dirt below. The impact had knocked the wind out of both of them. Austin had rolled, fast, faster than a normal beta should have been. He’d been taking something. His eyes had been glassy, veins black with wolfsbane.

Austin grabs her phone from her Saddle Sack and dials a contact. She puts it on speaker, and after three rings, a man answers.

I let out a sigh, which I had been holding. They were back, which meant everything that I had been doing would be halted and I had to deal with them. “In here.” I responded. Their footsteps grew heavier as they walked closer. The door was already opened a jar so Austin pipped inside. “My bug and buns are back.” I smiled, heading closer to them and I pulled them into a hug. Alex was the bug, he had a onesies of bugs which was what he had worn the day that he came into the world, then buns was Austin.

“Austin!” Austin roars as the dagger pierces through his ribs, leaving a sharp, burning pain in his side. Still, he holds on to life as he tears through the rogues surrounding them, beating back as many as he can with the help of his wolves until he is bleeding into his black suit from multiple wounds. Soon enough, the rogues start to disappear one after the other as wounded Austin keeps beating them back. He uses his claws to hack at the rogue with the dagger, but another rogue, this time a female, knocks Austin to the ground and the two escape.

Austin pointed Lennon's fist that was trembling hot. The three of them backed away from Lennon when he shouted again. The zipper of his pants was open because of Anthony, that was the reason why he screamed. “You mother!” Lennon yelled, his eyeballs are about to come out because of madness. He can't even move. “You mother!!!” “You know what? Looks like my customize hoodie will suit you.” Austin grabbed his hoodie on the counter, which was freshly delivered a while ago. When he returned, he put it on Lennon that was only up to his neck so his mouth was covered. “That will shut you up.” Austin even tapped his cheek.

(pants) Who's behind this? (Austin passes out again due to being weak)

Before Briella could answer, Iron Blade returned, holding a black laptop—slightly worn, brandless, and nondescript. I got this!” Sage shivered and whispered to Red Rose, “Red Rose… why is Austin grinning like a sleazy eunuch?”

Hell, just a few hours ago we were dodging bullets. "When I woke up, I was inside Austin's clubhouse. He is the president of the Nightmare Warriors. A local motorcycle club that is making the community better." I'm not exactly sure why I said that last part. Austin has expressed to me that he has changed his club, but I don't know if he has put any labor into actually helping our community. I guess I just don't want my family to hate him because of his background.
