"Tell me about your week." If we were friends or even a couple, that would be a sweet, normal thing to ask, but here in this room, it's a challenge. I don't know why I'm so messed up about this, but questions that I'd happily answer for Dr Ambrose out there in the real world, in here, I refuse to give anything away. "I had classes." He grunts. That means go on, and also don't fight me, Gardenia. I know all of Dr Ambrose's little grunts and noises.

Finally, I asked the only question I could. "What do you need?" The answer came almost immediately… small, broken and honest. "I don't know."

She asked. I looked at her with confusion written all over my face, wondering what she could possibly want to ask me. We may have been friends but we didn't know each other that well. “Just ask. We’ll see if I can answer or not.” In my experience, when someone asked you a question like the one Sonya had asked, it was probably because they knew you either weren't in a capacity to answer or the question was too hard. “How did you get here from Chicago and why can’t you go back?” She asked.

The knock came again, patient but insistent, and she found herself moving toward the door despite every instinct warning her to remain safely inside. Through the leaded glass panels, she could see the silhouette of a tall man, though the distortion made it impossible to make out details beyond an impression of elegant stillness. He stood perfectly motionless, as though he could wait eternally for her response. "Who is it?" she called through the door. "My name is Damien Nightshade." The voice was cultured, with an accent that belonged to no particular region but spoke of old money and older manners. "I believe Eleanor mentioned me in her arrangements."

I asked. " No, I am busy at that time. " She retorted. " Busy at dinner time?? " I asked. " Yes... Can't I be?? " She said too quickly. She was reacting. " Can I ask you, what are you doing? " " Do I ask you, what you do? " She was getting annoyed. Yes!! " What is wrong with you?? I just asked you a simple question. " " And I gave you a very simple answer that I am busy."

Nick said in a way that sounded more like a question. "Go on, boy, " Ruby nodded. "When you died, did you go to heaven? How is heaven like? Is it lovely? What of hell? Ugly and hot as ever, right?" Nick asked many questions which made him look very cute. "Oh, Nick! How inquisitive of you! Ok, I can't answer all your questions. I am neither in heaven nor hell for now. I still have a quest to complete before I rest in the bosom of the Lord. I need to save a lot of people from evil hands. But for now, I can't disclose everything to you." Ruby tried explaining-but with the way things were, nick looked totally confused.

Why is he asking me this? Me: regular i think. I answer, even if I'm not sure. I don't know how much is normal so I can't figure it out. Harry: Damn

I take a sip of my coffee barely tasting it as the question I’m dying to ask burns in my brain. ‘How do you know my name?’
