Aegis Group Dangerous Ladies

Aegis Group Dangerous Ladies

"I prefer the ones where it switches perspectives." Lumen leaned on the desk. "I've known him since I was like, nine, and all of this is new to me." Aspen turned and opened a roll top drawer behind her on the credenza. It hid a wealth of what looked like personal items from stuffed animals to a stack of books. One particular book in hardback with a peachy tone stuck out to Max. It was the exact shade of peach as Nabanita's book cover had been, though a little worse for wear.

Divorced Me, I Accepted My CEO Propose

Divorced Me, I Accepted My CEO Propose

The beautiful world out there must have a dark side that needs to be uncovered. That was his principle. “Enjoy it while you can,” Max said, pulling a cigarette from his pocket. He lit the tip of the nicotine-laden stick and exhaled the smoke immediately. ”Don't waste what I've prepared as a gesture of kindness.” Geno laughed. “I never thought the day would come when Max Stockholm would come to me. Usually, I'm the one who has to hunt you down, you SEO bigwigs and pillars. Oh... now the pillar is standing tall, it seems.”

The heart Beneath the Thorn

The heart Beneath the Thorn

“Dropped it in the fountain during that stupid dare. You were furious.” “You laughed,” she whispered, her voice uneven. “I did,” he admitted. “I thought it was funny. But you weren’t just mad about the book. You were heartbroken. You said it was your mother’s. That it was the only thing she left you that smelled like her.” She looked at him then, eyes shimmering. “You remembered?” Max’s voice was soft. “Of course I did.” Emilia stepped closer to the table, touching the edge of the book like it might disappear. “Max… this is…” She swallowed. “I don’t even have the words.”

Virginity at auction

Virginity at auction

Now Billie was closer. "Do you like the dark?" he wanted to know, his tone thick and so manly, it triggered something inside me. His eyes had something that left me half dumbfounded for a moment. I cleared my throat and snapped out of my trance, grabbing the first book I found. It was thick, blue. It had a pretty striking cover. the mysterious death of Max. That was the name of the book. It caught my attention. “You like? I can lend it to you if you'd like, I just finished it.

BEAUTY IN IMMORTALITY

BEAUTY IN IMMORTALITY

He knew Maximus would ruin his plans but that was the right way for him to be fair to his innocent brothers. Maximus was nervous, his mouth trembling to admit his secret. ''This book I found, it came from Dad's bookshelf. When I picked it up I noticed something strange in this book," Max explained. He opened the book and everyone saw nothing written on its pages. Everyone just frowned but they wanted to know about it. ''If you don't see anything in it but I can see and read what's written on every page of it,'' Max said, his siblings did not react, they just kept listening. "So what's your point?" Flynn suddenly spoke, getting bored listening to him. "Can you just be straight to the point,"

A Hotheaded Ghoul's Salvation

A Hotheaded Ghoul's Salvation

“Sure thing, sweetie. I’ll bring it right up.” “Thanks Etsu.” “No problem, kiddo. And the tarts on the house.” As Etsu walked over to serve the other guy Caitlynn reached into her bag and pulled out her book. For today it was The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. She turned to her bookmark, slipped it out and began reading from page 193. Her gaze swept across the pages, dark brown eyes drinking in every word in the tale told by Death. She loved this book because the characters intrigued her, most specifically the main protagonist, Liesel.

The Fated Alpha Queen

The Fated Alpha Queen

Max concludes by telling them about the letter that he had found for Harrison from Nellie. I give Max’s hand a gentle squeeze as I pull the letter from my bag and prepare to hand it to Harrison. “Please … read … it … to … me,” he gasps, and I’m shocked to see his whole body is trembling as he sheds silent tears. I prepare myself as I open the envelope, ready to read Heidi’s exquisite handwriting once again. ‘My Dearest Harry,

Fortunately, that did not happen. "You should be careful. You are guilty to her. She will find enough ways to torture you. Many enslaved people had died at her hands.” Suddenly, Max said. I smile and nod my head. I know Max has a good intention to remind me. He was easier than I thought. Max went to get me another bottle of whiskey while I looked at his kitchen. Everything here is clean and tidy, showing Max is prudent. I found some fruits in a giant refrigerator but hesitated. Finally, I still didn't take anything. I do not want to be famous as a thief.

Alpha's Slave

Alpha's Slave

Who were these people? Next moment Maxim walked in with an ominous growl. There were three more guards behind and the four buyers who had already deposited money. He blocked the way and crossed his hands against his chest. His gaze traveled to Ludwig who was holding the girl’s hand and had shoved her behind him. He narrowed his eyes and said, “Leave the girl, else I am going to gut you with my horns.” A demon. Maxim was a demon who had successfully hidden his horns under his thick mane of long hair. As tall as Ludwig, the demon was only a shade less muscular than him. His bulky frame covered the door.

Author here! Couldn't help reviewing my own story☺ It’s my 2nd story on this platform—fast paced, far from cliché stuff. I tend build high fantasy worlds and bring forth relevant elements into my stories for character development. If you are in for a steamy thriller romance, buckle up your seats!

Excellent book! Many grammatical errors which made it a 4.5 star rating. Plot and character development had a lot of depth and twists and turns throughout the book. I definitely look forward to the next book in the series as many characters introduced which leaves many for the author to write about.

The mysterious death of Max

The mysterious death of Max

I cocked my head from right to left. I noticed that one of the books was open and I approached slowly with a frown. There was a part underlined in fluorescent yellow that said: "Not everything that is around you is real, sometimes the same wolf dresses as sheep to hunt" "Shit!" I said quietly. I don't know why, but I related this sentence to what was happening. The double lives of my "friends" and of course the murder of Max, I was sure they had murdered him. But ... How did these books fall here? Who opened this book in this chapter? ”I wondered.
