~STORM As I sit here under the soft glow of the moon, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. The moon goddess has truly blessed me in ways I never thought possible. I look around at my beautiful family, and my heart swells with joy. My twins, Selene and Kingdom, are the light of my life. Their laughter fills our home with warmth, and their love is a constant reassurance of how lucky I am.

I turned to the second page and continued reading aloud: CHAPTER ONE - HISTORY OF THE MOON The history of the gods and goddesses of the moon spans various cultures and mythologies. Selene (Greek Mythology): Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon, often depicted as a beautiful woman with a crescent moon on her head, riding a chariot across the night sky. She is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and the sister of Helios (the sun god) and Eos (the dawn goddess). Selene had many romantic liaisons, the most famous being her love for the mortal shepherd Endymion, whom she put into an eternal sleep to keep him forever youthful.

“Then, by the power given to me by the council and under the eye of the moon, I name Rosalee as Luna of the Dark Moon Pack.” The words hang in the air like magic. Marcus takes a respectful step back, and Jensen turns to face me. His hand tightens around mine, and I look into his eyes, those eyes I’ve come to know, to trust, to love. Jensen lifts his head towards the sky. “Now we let the moon hear us.” I follow his gaze upward to where the moon now glows, bright and full, suspended in the violet dusk. I tilt my head back beside him, and together, we release a howl into the night.

' Her words had sparked a sense of awe and curiosity within me, and I had listened intently, soaking up every detail. I pressed on, my curiosity getting the better of me. 'So, who are we praying to?' I asked, looking up at my mother with wide eyes. She smiled and nodded towards the night sky, where the full moon hung low and bright. 'The Moon Goddess,' she replied softly. My gaze followed hers, and I felt a sense of wonder at the glowing orb above.

The moon is just peeking through, nearly full, bright and white in the night sky. “Then what are you waiting for?”

Shama sat beneath the moonlit sky, the cool breeze caressing her skin. She gazed up at the full moon, its silvery glow illuminating the vast expanse of the night sky. Myriad stars twinkled around it, like diamonds scattered on black velvet. Shama wondered which celestial body she most resembled: the lone moon, shining brightly in the darkness, or the countless unknown stars, twinkling beside it, their light unseen by most.

Cedric drifted off to sleep, thrown into an unexpected dream world. Above the cloudy sky, the moonlight illuminated the earth with alluring elegance. From the moonlight, the figure of the Moon Goddess emerged, who stood tall on a soft cloud. Her face was reflected in the beauty of the full moon, and her long hair fluttered in the evening breeze.

BLOOM’S POV As the moon festival began, the Pack was illuminated by the moon. Celestial orbs cast their glowing beams upon the surroundings. Captivating sights shimmered and came alive under their ethereal touches. Lanterns floated gracefully, illuminating the darkness with their tender radiance. The stars sparkled and twinkled in harmony, and fireflies danced in the air, casting mesmerizing glows upon the atmosphere.

By the time I am finished with my shower, my mom enters my bathroom, knocking on the wall beside the shower to grab my attention. “Moonbeam, are you about done? I want to style your hair and apply makeup for you. I have ideas to match Draven’s gifts.” She trills in her singsong voice from behind the frosted glass door, using the nickname I was given since birth. “Just about done. I’m rinsing my hair.” I tell her and she hums her response, leaving the bathroom to wait for me in my room. I quickly finish my shower, step out onto the fur rug, grab my towel and dry my body off. Then I apply moisturizing lotion to my skin, pull on my white bra and underwear, toss my robe on after, and exit my bat
