I decided to just rip the band-aid off, so to speak, out of exhaustion from this whole thing. Their eyes widened with surprise. Joy flashed across their face for a moment and worry replaced it.

BLOOM’S POV As the moon festival began, the Pack was illuminated by the moon. Celestial orbs cast their glowing beams upon the surroundings. Captivating sights shimmered and came alive under their ethereal touches. Lanterns floated gracefully, illuminating the darkness with their tender radiance. The stars sparkled and twinkled in harmony, and fireflies danced in the air, casting mesmerizing glows upon the atmosphere.

By the time I am finished with my shower, my mom enters my bathroom, knocking on the wall beside the shower to grab my attention. “Moonbeam, are you about done? I want to style your hair and apply makeup for you. I have ideas to match Draven’s gifts.” She trills in her singsong voice from behind the frosted glass door, using the nickname I was given since birth. “Just about done. I’m rinsing my hair.” I tell her and she hums her response, leaving the bathroom to wait for me in my room. I quickly finish my shower, step out onto the fur rug, grab my towel and dry my body off. Then I apply moisturizing lotion to my skin, pull on my white bra and underwear, toss my robe on after, and exit my bat

I nodded my head again only to correct myself and whisper a soft, “yes.” “Good little bunny.” His hand rubbed the top of my head, making me smile brightly as his teeth glistened in the red sun. Clearing his throat, he pointed to the moon that hung on the opposite side of the sky. “Selene is who you saw. She is the Moon Goddess, that is why she has a moon crescent on her forehead.” My eyes trailed to the blue moon, cocking my head to the side in wonder.

It was as if she was meant to be by his side. She did not know how to explain it better than that. But she knew that she was not here for anything else than begging the guy for mercy. “Thank you all for being here tonight. The moon festival is a time for joy and celebration. It’s a time to give thanks and adoration to the Moon goddess. It is a time for those who don’t have mates to find their partners. It is a time for the light of the moon to wash us clean from our sins and make us new again. Tonight, we celebrate! Tonight, we become one as a pack! Tonight, we live!” He exclaimed, and everyone cheered at the top of their lungs.
