I heard Nathan told my mom about the night the pack went to bail on the Full Moon celebration to go to the spring and proved the fairy tales about Moon Goddess. He swore he didn’t hear any of my howling that time because they were trying to make an offering so the Moon Goddess would appear before them. However, while the Goddess didn’t appear, Selene was convinced that Nathan was her mate.

“Brenna, let me know tomorrow if you would like to present yourself before the Moon Goddess as a potential Luna. The full moon is in a few days, so we must prepare.” The Blood Moon was coming, too. But I still had a bit more time. As if reading my mind, she turned and smiled. “The Blood Moon is in three months. The soft glow of her bedroom lanterns reflected off her ash-blonde hair, which she had twisted into a perfect, messy bun, with short curls framing her round face. Her pale purple eyes sparkled, flecked with hints of silver—a distinct mark of being Moon-Kissed. Soon, she thought, her mate would see her as she saw herself: beautiful, unique, a prize worthy of any Alpha’s daughter.

The moons represented every shape of the moon while the stars were shining brightly around it. I ran my fingers over the stars, "Thank you, this is beautiful," I replied still mesmerized by it but reluctantly tore my gaze from the windchime to find Damien looking at me with a big smile on his lips. You are never alone. He is your world." she spoke. A knock on the door woke me up. It was my mom who came to wake me up.

I watched her relax and felt a pulse of gratefulness through our bond and all of a sudden whatever I had said was completely worth it. "Thank you, Jasp..." She whispered. Great Mother Moon Goddess her voice was like heaven to my ears. It was the finest melody that had been fine tuned to reach my heart and squeeze. I watched her giggle and noticed that she had been trifling in my mind a second ago. I smiled and began walking closer, "The things you do to me." I say, and she repeats what I said back to me, but with a sultry tone, "The things you do to me~" I stopped dead in my tracks and clenched my fists, if she didn't stop talking like that we would have problems. Big, hard, aching problems.

He stood near the mic and tapped into it twice before speaking. "Welcome everyone to the annual championship game. This event is going to start just exactly as the moon comes up..."
