Chapter 8 : No way out. The next day in the morning, Asher received the visit of Vixel, his childhood friend. As the son of a beta of Aric the lycan king, Vixel had had the privilege of growing up with Asher and receiving the same education as him. Asher was sitting on his bed and lost in thought when Vixel entered the room after knocking on the door without Asher reacting. "Hey! Hi bro." Vixel threw at Asher, slapping him on the cheek. He had picked his favourite toy, a small rifle that fitted perfectly into his hand, with only one bullet in it, that was how he operated, one bullet for the person who deserved it most. Two choppers flew side by side in the middle of the night as they headed towards a forested area far away from the capital. Asriel had warned the Scorpions for a long time having once meddled in his business, stealing his goods and blocking his passage. Right now they had hit his nerve, and the end wouldn't be so nice. He would wipe them all out.

I turned my head to her now remembering there were other people aside from me, Aziria and Azrael. “No. She’s not. It’s just a coincidence her name also starts with an A.” Aziria answered for her with a smile, looking at Aries like they were old friends. “Aries comes from a line of witches who have always been close to us. Even though she has separated from her coven, she remains true to our cause and has been a great ally.” My eyes widened at that bit of information. Aries was an ally to them. Aries's eyes open, and he gazes at me in wonder as I pour healing power into him, a light burns in between us, slowly getting bigger and brighter until we are all blinded by it, the light vanishes and shrouds us in complete darkness.
