Her sharp eyes immediately locked onto his hunched posture, scanning the pale pallor of his face and the rigid tension cording the muscles of his neck. We're heading to the hospital to see her, so you can meet her then. She can't introduce herself because she is sleeping right now, but when she wakes up, you can get to meet her. Iris shook her head vigorously, and both laughed for a second, but again silence swarmed in the room like clouds. "You know, Theia," Iris gently kissed her daughter's temple, "they say it's not wise to name your daughter after the names of the gods. But I did it anyway, you know why?" Athena shook her head, indicating her curiosity. “Because Athena symbolizes love, intellect, and battle strategy,” she sighed deeply. “I always thought you were my little fighter. Maybe I shouldn’t have named you after her, and you wouldn’t have had these many struggles in your life.”

I wondered how she looked beneath all of the uniform. “You should close your mouth before a fly gets into it,” Fabian had said to me about two days ago in class when I saw Athena dressed in a tank top and sports pants. A very colorful tattoo of a dragon was on her back, and that shocked me because I didn’t know she was inked. Although I had dabbled with the thought of getting a wolf tattoo on my chest, I didn’t take it seriously. Now I wondered if I should do it to please her. After all, the goal was to get her to me, or perhaps I could do a big tattoo of her name or face in a very exposed part of my body.
