“Driver! Let me off!” The man opened his eyes and smiled. But it wasn’t cruel. It was sad. “You’re not the villain anymore,” he said. “You’re just in the final chapter.” I jumped off the bus at the next stop and ran into the woods nearby. I hid behind trees, heart pounding in silence. Then I heard a whisper in the wind. “Redemption isn’t for the perfect. It’s for the brave.” I didn’t know if it was in my head or real.

My breath catches, my chest tightening. “The Alpha-heir turned to you, and in that moment, I felt it—the bond between you. Whole. Unbreakable.” Her voice softens, but her eyes darken. “No curse keeping you apart. No fate forcing you into separate lives. Just you and him, as it was meant to be.” Hope sparks in my chest. There was no need to throw a tantrum over something that I had no control over. When Alpha Damon made a decree like this, it always stood, regardless of who it was for. “We’ll ensure Amanda doesn’t have the chance to come after you again.” In that moment, Seraphina realized that while the scars of the past would remain, she could reclaim her life moving forward. For building something based on your actual values instead of trying to compete with people who have more resources." Silas was quiet for a long moment. "Thank you," he said finally. "That means more than you know." After they hung up, Aurora sat with the weight of her own feelings and understood that she was beginning to believe in redemption. Not because Silas had performed grand gestures. But because he'd made hundreds of small choices that suggested he was genuinely trying to be different.

Aurora loosened a part of her dress and used it to tie up her doppelgänger’s arm, which would soak up the bleeding for a while before she would get some treatment. “We will go with you; do not worry.” I assured the guards, and that was my real intention. It was over. I have to face it. I have to face Adrian, and this is where I begin my real Alpha journey to bring my pack and people back to safety under me, where they have always belonged. “What are you going to do?” Aurora sent me a mindlink, and I explained what I had in mind to her. She asked if I was sure about it, and I nodded. Now is the time I finally got to do something about this.
