Mary Redferne

Mary Redferne

I say, trying to boost his confidence, and I could see his face turning red as he starts driving the car, avoiding eye contact with me. I wasn’t lying; it was attractive, in a place where all the people surrounding me are overconfident and egotistical, Joseph was refreshing. AUTHOR’S NOTE Hello All You Beautiful People, I have updated the second chapter of Mary Redferne, and I will be updating Danika Williams tomorrow too. Please let me know what your opinions are on Joseph, Mary, and Joshua so far. I hope you enjoyed the chapter; please let me know your thoughts down in the comment section.

Ava

Ava

The woman was typing something on her computer, and Ava took the opportunity to study her. Because she looked a little older than most supernaturals, Ava couldn’t tell what she was or if she was supernatural at all. She didn’t have the pale skin the vampires did, so she ruled that out. She dressed elegantly, and her greying hair was in a professional bun on top of her head. The name badge on the desk said, ‘Mrs. Benton, Student Welfare Coordinator.’ Ava stood nervously in front of the desk, unsure if she was to just sit or be polite and wait for an invitation. With nothing in her hands now, she could only wring them together while waiting for Mrs. Benton’s attention.

Her Demand, His Desire

Her Demand, His Desire

"I believe it has its own value. I've always had a passion for reading and writing." Grandma Ellie jumps in, eyes sparkling. "Oh, how wonderful! I love literature. Do you have a favorite author, dear?" I smile sincerely upon her excitement. "I'm quite fond of Jane Austen. Her insights into society and character are timeless." "Ah, a classic choice," Harold puts in, nodding appraisingly. "Pride and Prejudice is a masterpiece." Rebecca leans back in her chair, swirling her wine glass reflectively. "Personally, I find those stories a bit dull. All that talk of manners and marriage prospects. Don't you think, Pamela?"

If Austin could turn back time, he wished he had never crossed paths with her. The day had finally came, everyone was at the house based at the plantation. Austin did not look up from his plate as the whole family conversed. His twin sister and her husband were present, so was Austin's older brother and the devil. For a moment he took his time to stare at her, while she talked. Her brown hair... the freckles on her face, her laugh and green eyes. He held so much resentment for this woman. Henry, down to earth as always he tried to hold a conversation with Austin, who only gave one worded replies. This had been the first time they had met Henry and Stella's children. Austin was not fond of th

Love the story. Do not change your story because readers might feel offended. Tell the tale as it is. Slavery is a fact and there was rape a daily struggle. But I do believe there was love as well. As I’m a proud mix race women. Born in a Dutch colony, these are the untold stories. Well told!!!

I defined give this book 100...️. Out of all the interesting books (and some not so interesting), this one takes the cake. A few grammatical errors, but at least you understand the actual story nonetheless. I fully recommend it for strong hearted readers. Different plot from the clichés in this app.

Emily Warner

Emily Warner

Emily Warner I came home after two hour chat with Mary. I felt like I finally met someone who understands me and doesn’t look at me with pity in her eyes, she knows exactly what I am talking about and where I am coming from. She made me jot down points on a notepad because I would for sure forget them, I was surprised at how predictable I am. I kept telling her that Lucas would never get jealous and he would see through my tactics. But she laughed at me and said that I don’t know how men work.

The breaking news

The breaking news

Part 7 A There is, I believe, in every disposition a tendency to some particular evil, a natural defect, which not even the best education can overcome." "And your defect is a propensity to hate everybody." "And yours," he replied with a smile, "is wilfully to misunderstand them. Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice For the next few moments silence prevailed in the room, only the ticking of the wall clock and the sound of a crying baby from somewhere near the market, surrounded them.

Athena

Athena

Blanche’s cars stopped before a vast mansion. The place’s magnificence struck Athena, and the place is a vast mansion; the entrance had a nameplate with bold italic letters, “The Dubois mansion.” She stepped into the house to see that the place was filled with all the amenities that would be considered luxurious. Athena’s eyes widened at the chandeliers, lavish chairs, classic arcs, and beautiful rugs. Her parents had money too, but they preferred a cozy home to a lavish one. So, this is all new to Athena. Athena was still looking around when Blanche dropped her bags and snapped her fingers. Soon, a lady in her 30s came forward and started putting her luggage away.

KATE

KATE

“Uncle Charles! Auntie Camilla! Am back! Came the joyful announcement from Kate. Kate’s POV The Stewarts are my favorite people. Uncle Charles and auntie Camilla are like my parents. I don’t joke with them at all. We sat down and discussed at length. Auntie Camilla will occasionally hint on my relationship with Emma. “Both of you have been inseparable since childhood. You always look good together.” Emma was embarrassed, “mom… please stop.” Auntie Camilla couldn’t care less. Mrs Stewart’s POV I know what I was doing. Am trying to play the matchmaker. The last wedding I attended was two years ago. I am itching for another. Moreover, I know they love each other. “Why the delay?” Emma’s POV I w
