he said quietly, and then, as if to reassure her, he added, “We’ll handle this.” Naomi didn’t say anything at first. She just nodded, a rush of emotion flooding her chest. She couldn’t let herself fall apart. Not now. Not when Damian needed her more than ever. The door opened, and Richard walked in, his presence as commanding as always. He was the embodiment of power, his sharp features twisted into a smug grin as he stepped inside, his eyes immediately locking with Damian’s. “Well, well, Damian,” Richard said, his tone dripping with mockery. “It’s been a while.”

Fuller glances at me when I enter before he turns his attention back to the file he was reading, “Richard agreed to make your movie. Starting Monday.” Richard Hanson. THE director in the movie business. They say that he has got the golden finger -- any script he touches turns into dollars. “How is Mom doing?” I ignore his generous offer to buy my freedom, and that irritates him. He finally looks up from his file, glaring at me with his eyes narrowed dangerously. He is not used to me being like this. I mean, to be fair, he never really used the word “blood vessel”. “She is resting, in her room,” Mr. Fuller says with his stone-cold tone, “you don’t want to disturb her.”

Please call me Richard. Trayton ~”Hi Richard. Did you get our photo?” Richard Owens ~”Yes I did.” I can hear his voice tremble as he starts to cry. Richard Owens ~”I had to show my wife because I thought I was imagining things.” Trayton ~”I promise you that is Madison in that photo and that she is definitely standing right here next to me.” Richard Owens ~”I believe you son, I believe that your fiancé is our baby girl. I believe that she is Madison. I have not been so certain about anything in a long time.”

Mattias didn’t smile, “Stubborn saved this pack more than once.” Richard’s eyes held a calculating glint, “Then we use that. But remember, some things are better left buried.” … After his brief discussion with Mattias, Richard made his way outside the Pack grounds. He was donned in a black trench coat and fedora hat, which he propped firmly on his head, casting a shadow on his face, shielding him from any onlooker.

Richard sighed inwardly, unable to suppress his frustration. ‘What a petty, jealous man. Damn you, you bootlicking husband! It's not right for you to be so overprotective of your wife that she doesn’t even have the privilege to wear nice clothing!’ Richard grumbled about Matthew in his mind, but he dared not utter a word. Matthew was the one paying him, after all. If he complained, he might lose another zero from the commission he received for his design. Although the deposit already exceeded his estimate, who would turn down more money?

That meant their game was unfolding perfectly. “Adele Laurent?” The voice of a middle-aged man made Adele turn. One of London’s major investors stood near her with a friendly smile. “I’m Richard Hale.” Adele shook his hand briefly. “I’ve heard of you.” “And I’ve been hearing quite a lot about you lately.” Richard chuckled softly. “Now I understand why everyone’s talking about you.” Adele smiled politely. “People enjoy gossip too much.” “Because they’re bored.” His gaze shifted briefly toward Leonard. “Especially when a new face manages to capture the attention of someone like Leonard Ashcroft.”

He was as scary as Markos. “Can I help you?” I asked. He lingered by the door just glaring at me. Hate swirled in his eyes and he looked like he could hit me or do something to me. Even though I didn’t know him, I could tell his dislike for me was deep. “Yes. Why don’t you quit your job and get lost?” I was taken aback by his curt words. He looked rich. His suit was very expensive and he had an equally expensive watch. It must have cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

He bent over and kissed the back of my palm before turning to Matilda who had a confused look on. Her eyes tell me to do some explanation on who he is. I cleared my throat and then pointed at Richard with a smile. “This is Richard Reynold, the CEO of Nexus Global Partners and the host tonight.” " Oh.” Realization crossed her face. And Richard smiled, the same proud smile still lingering on his face. "And this, Richard,” I nodded toward Matilda. " Is Matilda, my best friend and also a sister.” my lips twitched into a smile, this time not forced.
