Creed said smiling “ don’t say anything Charlotte is taking a shower and will be here when she’s done” I groan taking a sit in my desk chair “ How was sleeping on the floor?” Ryan mocks making kissy faces “ terribly but it was worth it.” I huffed. Unwrapping my plate, I pick up a piece of bacon enjoying the delicious taste. This world wouldn’t be the same if bacon didn’t exist. We wait for her to come in while I listen to Creed and Ryan yell at each other about what food is best. Eating my eggs a soft knock of the door steals my attention

She could see the shift in his eyes—his wolf was close and he was seeing red already. “Lucas!” Kate screamed, rushing towards them. *** Alpha’s mansion Richard sat in his study, his fingers tapping against the armrest of his chair. Then a knock interrupted the silence in his study. “Come in,” he said without looking up. Mathew entered, bowing slightly. “You summoned me, sire?” Richard raised his eyes, which was sharp and piercing. “Yes I did.” Mathew stood straight, but there was a slight sign of him trembling in his shoulders.

Using the table as a shield between them. At exactly 2 PM, Morrison appeared with two men. One older, silver-haired, expensive suit. The other younger, maybe forty, wearing khakis and a button-down with coffee stains. "Alexandra, Emma, this is Richard Bennett, CEO of Bennett Pharmaceuticals." Morrison gestured to the older man. "And Dr. Carlos Martinez, their chief scientist and lead researcher on DiabetaFix." Handshakes all around. Everyone sat. Emma pulled out her laptop, ready to take notes.

"About you, why will I know anything about you?" "Sorry, I mean about 'Austin Richard' ." "Well.. I know he's an heir to the Richard group which is the richest family in California, he's a CEO and owner of MX Corp." "That's about his business. Shouldn't you know some personal stuff about someone you're crushing on?"

, Richard said, clapping his hands together and laughing aloud as though what he said was funny. Carissa glanced at Ethan, who was throwing dead glares across to Richard. “Who is he?” She asked Ethan. “I’m his brother, Richard. Well, I just discovered that I’m his brother from another mother”, Richard quickly chimed out, beaming at Carissa who wore a massive scowl on her face. “I know who you are! You are the lady who he is going to use to ensure that his position here is not moved”, Richard said and broke into another round of laughter.

Richard had just arrived at the pool party the previous night when Ava went over to kiss someone, so he didn't get the chance to see that man's face. Meanwhile, Ava couldn’t believe her ears. What part of it's over did Richard not understand? She had dumped him for Christ's sake. As usual, the latter didn't think twice to use her when he needed her. Such a selfish prick. “Yes, I am!" Richard answered. "I have a Master’s in Software Engineering. I believe I can be of great help to you and your company. I’ve left several applications at your company, but I haven’t heard from-”

Due to traffic, he came over when Richard was already done with the Zoom meeting with his staff. Receiving the small travel bag from Mateo, Richard thanked him. They were in the living area of Isabella's VIP room speaking in a hushed tone just so they won't disturb her. "That woman, is she the one you have been talking about?" Mateo asked with a small grin. Unlike Richard whose handsomeness was manly, Mateo could be mistaken as a woman if he were to ever try cross-dressing. He looked like a playboy, but given that Richard only associated himself with reasonable people, he couldn't ever be a playboy. His good genes were all thanks to his very beautiful parents who were both models in the past

One was Richard Clinton, and the other was Matthias Cox. As they noticed my presence, both of their eyes turned to me. Richard smiled with his teeth shown, while Matthias just … stared. Jemimah looked at me, concerned and scared, so I nodded at her, signing she could go out for a while. “We finally met, Miss Althea Lewis,” said Richard after there were only three of us left, or maybe two, since he acted like the younger man beside him didn’t exist. “I believe you’re busy, but it’s almost lunch. We can grab a lunch together–”

“But please, call me Richard. I’m one of the hosts tonight. And Maya, I have to admit... I’m a huge fan.” I chuckled softly, easing my hand out of his grasp with practiced elegance. “Oh? That’s interesting.” Richard laughed, sounding almost nervous. “No, seriously! I’ve followed your career since your first indie film. Scarlet Ruins, right?” I raised an eyebrow, a little impressed. “Wow, not many people know about that one. I’m curious how you found it.” “I’m a film collector,” he said, his eyes gleaming. “I love discovering unique projects, and I remember watching Scarlet Ruins and thinking, ‘This girl has something special.’”
