Written by Joe Tiger." Horr explained but Wilson and Bar had no idea who the writer was. "Joe Tiger?" Bar asked. "Yes! Joe Tiger!" Horr repeated, looking at Bar as if expecting him to know this Joe. Bar shook his head. "Still doesn't ring a bell?" Horr pressed on. "No!" Bar shook his head. "You... how could you forget just like that?" Horr looked hurt and pouted. It looked kind of funny; a fearful looking giant giving such a face.

She asked, equally amused. "As I'd ever be" he replied He was actually serious. Who hasn't heard of twilight? Where was this dude From? She laughed out loud "Making fun of me?" He asked "I'm not. I'm sorry. But everybody has heard, read or watched twilight" "Well, I haven't. Never heard of it or watched it or read it either" he said back "You should. It's the best selling novel or movie of all time" she said He shrugged. "I bet I'd be unimpressed' he said

Annalise is 21 and in college with her two best friends and her sister. She is starting her last year off on a good start. She is one grade ahead of her average age. She is studying art and wants to be the best she can be. She is assigned a partner for her last big assignment, Theo Hyde. He is the guy she has had a crush on for years, but he is also her best friend's ex-boyfriend. She tries to focus on the project, but her feelings keep getting in the way.

Hidi motions to the pile of books on my desk. “Who are you writing to?” I ask again as Hidi returns to tap the powder for the ink to dry. “My beloved.” “You have a lover?” It pulls up to her eyes. Since when? No, how- I look at Hidi anew. “It's a secret.” Hidi’s cheeks turn pink as she blows the dust off. “Oh?” Is it a liaison? Or is it a scandal? I wait for her to continue, but Hidi is quiet for once. Does Hidi not want to tell me? I’m surprised. Her silence seems to say so.

Mia corrected, pointing at Poppy, who was eagerly bouncing in her seat. "Well, what have you found so far?" Urkstin asked, pulling a chair over and sitting. "Mostly the usual novels, recreational books, and a few children's books. Most of the novels are written by the same guy though." Mia explained, holding a book up to show us the binder with the author's name. "Most of them are written by this 'Toddy Howard' guy?" I asked, to which Risa and Mia both nodded. "I feel like I've heard of him before." I thought aloud, trying to think of why it was so familiar.

Steven said to me before he walked out. I grabbed a slice a pizza and got up from the table with Seth. We walked out the front door and stood next to Steven. “What you heard?” I asked him. “So, you guys linked up with the hybrid dude?” He asked. “Yes, we did.” Seth said. “Why?” “So, him breaking the treaty is real?” “Of course it is.” He nodded his head. “Why are you working here?” “You didn’t here about the Hale pack disbanding?” Seth and I looked at each other before we turned back to him.

She came across a couple of other books but she knew none of them will give her any information on what she sought after; ‘Moon Goddess' Mate’ by U. Tipper, ‘The Hybrid's special Guide’ by L. O. Klark, ‘Tribid Greed’ by Steve Reynolds, and a lot of other books.

The auditorium was filled with people, and even though this was not the first time she had faced this kind of scene, Hilda was still quite nervous. You would think as a nerd, my love life was out of limits for high school gossip but I guess not. I crouched down to pick up my books but someone was faster than me. Before I even looked up, I perceived his scent and I knew who it was. Todd. “Thanks.” I muttered taking the books from him as we both stood up.
