It kept me afloat. Back in the day, I used to scribble stories in cool notebooks that I purchased from the school’s bookstore. I remember vividly the time one of my teachers confiscated one of my many notebooks with unfinished scripts because I was focused on writing instead of listening to the daily lesson. She returned the notebook and may have said that I may have some potential. Fast forward to recently, when I finally decided to create a story based on what May or May not have happened in my life. I never thought that I would actually be able to get this novel out.

I’m not going to have to dodge that storm, and I can skip all my recuperating rituals. Tomorrow, I’m quitting my job. Next week, I’m flying back home. Biswa was distraught, when I told him about my decision when he called last night. He couldn’t believe it for a while. “What the hell will you do there?” he asked. I remembered Nisim’s insight: For the greatest story-tellers, telling their story is their deepest yearning. It’s their way of life. “I’ll write the second story.” I said. “Second story? When did you write the first one?”

And as I looked into the host's eyes, I knew that this was just the beginning of an incredible journey, one that would take me to places I never thought possible. As I continued to share my story, the host's eyes widened in shock and surprise. "Cynthia, I had no idea," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Your book... it's about you, isn't it?" I nodded, feeling a sense of vulnerability and exposure. "Yes, it is," I admitted. "The book is a semi-autobiographical account of my life, my struggles, and my journey as a wife and a woman."

This journey of writing has been a voyage of self-discovery, where I have learned as much about myself as I have about the craft of storytelling. I believe that stories are the threads that weave our shared human experience. They have the power to transcend cultural, geographical, and temporal boundaries, reminding us of our common humanity. Whether through the written word, oral tradition, or digital mediums, stories connect us, inspire us, and challenge us to grow. It is my hope that my words will find a resonance with readers, that they will evoke emotions, provoke thoughts, and spark conversations.

It was my 22nd birthday party and my engagement party with Conrad. Maybe God wanted to give me a second chance; in the blink of an eye, I was reborn. Not only was I alive, but I was back at the age of 22. This year, Harmon International was thriving, and my father had made it into the top ten on the Forbes list. This year, Conrad and I were still not engaged. "Of course, she's having a headache," someone behind me chimed in with a tone of malicious glee. "Yesterday, Conrad admitted in front of the media that the little secretary is his girlfriend."

Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. Vol.2: medium stories: The antics of Bia's crew ( ABC) Bia comments on a crew of children of criminals, in an invisible ship. In this world full of magic, demonic beasts and restrictions, they live on the run, abandoned by their parents. Not being accepted anywhere in the world they have to survive on small illegal jobs and from time to time to plunder.

Part 1 Alot of people have different life tale, I have read many and never thought I will one day tell mine here for others to read. I have held back for so long and Just felt is time to let my pain out. I will start right from when it all began. I came from a loving home, my parents were awesome when it comes to caring for us. I'm the first child and have younger siblings. A sister Lucia and two brothers. My parents were young and love each other before getting married.

That photograph was our story, captured in one still frame. I sipped my coffee and exhaled slowly. My novels had always been about love, hope, and perseverance, themes that had grown naturally out of my own life experiences. But lately, I’d been thinking about Luca and Emilia, about how much they’d grown and how they saw the world. I wondered what kind of stories they would want to read, what tales might help them understand themselves and others better.

Another tough question. “Well, um… I feel like it’s personal preference, but truth be told, every writer has, at least once in their lifetime, written at least one story that has significant references or connections to their own life. I won’t lie, I have, too. In fact one of my stories are based entirely on my early life.” I answered truthfully, as best as I could. “You mean… it’s an exact copy? Truly your life story?” Asked another.
