I returned to my seat, and the man extended his hand to introduce himself.
“I’m A.J.” He shook my hand with firm conviction.
“A.J.? What kind of name is that?” I thought, but only asked after a moment.
“Ava,” I murmured.
“Ava? Seriously?” he asked, frowning slightly, though still smiling.
“Yes, what’s wrong with that?”
“No, nothing…” He paused, thinking for a moment. “Aren’t you the new model who’s been appearing everywhere?” he asked, clearly intrigued.
“Yes, I suppose I’ve appeared in the occasional advertisement, but I’m not as famous as you think,” I explained, blushing.
