Is This Regret?

Is This Regret?

" Noel turned pale, and he no longer dared to say a word. Sophie's last hope was crushed when Noel did nothing. She struggled out of the police's grip with all her might to lunge at Noel and give him a hard slap. Her voice was filled with despair. "Noel Chilton! I didn't expect you to be a weak, useless, and hard-hearted man! I was wrong about you. No wonder Stella Judd doesn't like you. You deserve to be dumped by her and used by me. Hahaha!

MY EX-HUSBAND REGRET

MY EX-HUSBAND REGRET

"Beverly, my decision kills me every night, and yes, you are, once again, correct. I could have handled things better. I could have not hurt Clara like that, but I was blinded by something so flashy that I buried my true feelings, and now, it was back to bite me in the ass!" I was breathless, pained, sweaty, annoyed. There were so many emotions, so much hate that was directed toward myself more than anyone else. Beverly's smile disappeared. "Oh, you do have a heart!" "Surprise," the word fell out empty, void of any enthusiasm. "So if you're going to ask me if I regret it? I do! I fucking regret letting Clara go. I regret it every day, and yes, I'm so sure I want a divorce. I can't keep foldi

The Greatest Regret

The Greatest Regret

But now? “It doesn’t matter anymore,” I said calmly. “Why not?” Silas’s eyes turned red, his desperation spilling over. “Because we don’t need you anymore. I don’t trust you, and neither does Yael. We can’t wait for you forever.” My tone was steady, as though I were merely stating a fact.

His Regret: Loved by My Ex's Uncle

His Regret: Loved by My Ex's Uncle

There was no turning back now. I stood there, watching her for a moment, searching for something—anything—that would make me stay. But the words refused to come. Instead, I turned and walked away, leaving behind the only woman I had ever loved. As I drove back to the mansion, I waited for a sense of relief. But it never came. The weight in my chest grew heavier with every passing mile, a suffocating reminder of what I was losing. No, this wasn’t a relief. It was a regret. Pure, unfiltered regret.

From the start this author excites us with this awesome book. I love how authors connects with their readers and this book did exactly that. Yes, there are plots but this author knows where to draw the line and don’t let it dragged. This book is a ten star and one of my favourite. Def read again!

It’s a great Novel. I really loved Marcus and Martina’s stories of them all. Please try to include little updates of their life too in further episodes as the story progresses with other brothers. Marcus’s character is well written since the beginning and a very likable character amongst others.

I Heard My Girlfriend’s Thoughts While Proposing

“People are just funny like that. They don’t know how to cherish what they have, and only regret it after they lose it. “But regret doesn’t change anything. He’s already gone abroad. The apartment has been sold too. From now on, there’s nothing left between you two!”

When the Plot Ends, Everyone Regrets Hurting Me

When the Plot Ends, Everyone Regrets Hurting Me

"Abigail, I was tricked by Alicia back then. That's why I thought you were wicked. I still don't understand why I could think that way. I raised you myself. How could I not know what kind of person you are?" Michael's eyes were also rimmed red. He looked at me with overflowing regret. "Abigail, I know you don't want to see us anymore, but I still need to apologize. We never meant for all those things to happen." I took in the regret in their eyes. It didn't seem fake. For a moment, I didn't know what to say. What I could surmise was what had happened to them. Back then, under the control of the storyline, they had lost their sense of reason and sided with Alicia.

Trapped In Lies

“Just give me a chance to make it up to you.” I looked him in the eye and said, “Do you know what regret really is? It’s realizing you have permanently lost the chance to make things right. My father is gone. The best years of my life are gone. My health is gone. What could you possibly offer to make up for any of it?”

Betrayed by Ex, Married to Billionaire

Betrayed by Ex, Married to Billionaire

“Do you feel it, or do you just say it because I’ve grown, because Leonard has elevated me, and now it’s convenient for you to regret?” Revan flinched slightly at her words, but he didn’t back down. “No… Aruna. This isn’t convenient. This is… real. I’ve lost more than I realized. Losing you, seeing the life you’re building… it made me see what I threw away.” The city lights reflected in his eyes, mixing desperation and regret, as the traffic continued to hum around them. Passersby glanced curiously at the tense scene, but Aruna paid them no mind.

Their Regret: I'm Not Your Luna Anymore

Their Regret: I'm Not Your Luna Anymore

My green-eyed heart breaker was ditched by the loser like he could afford to have her in the first place. "Aren't you satisfied enough that my business is struggling to stay afloat? Thanks to your greed, you took half the company's money in the name of your compensation as the Luna. And now you're trying to make Alpha Rhayghar hate on me and my son. You should be ashamed." The loser's words brought my attention back to him. I lifted my face to glower, but instead it puckered as I detected a young girl standing behind Fred, and smiling. She quickly fixed her expression and tried to look lamentable.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phrase 'he never loved me but will regret losing me' is such a raw, bittersweet sentiment—it’s like the emotional equivalent of a breakup anthem you scream in your car. It’s defiant, but there’s this undercurrent of vulnerability, too. I’ve seen it play out in stories like 'Normal People,' where Connell takes Marianne for granted until she’s gone, and suddenly, the absence hits him like a freight train. Real life? It’s messier. Sometimes they do regret it, crawling back with half-hearted apologies. Other times, they just… move on, and you’re left wondering if the regret was ever real or just something you needed to believe.

The power of the phrase isn’t in whether they actually regret it, though. It’s in reclaiming your worth. Whether it’s Taylor Swift’s 'All Too Well' or Elizabeth Bennet shrugging off Darcy’s initial rejection, the focus shifts from their validation to your own growth. The 'regret' part almost doesn’t matter—it’s the unshakable certainty that you deserved better. That’s the ending that sticks.
