His Choice Wasn't Me
Victor hesitated, knowing this final revelation crossed a line he couldn't uncross.
Spider leaned in close. "Say it."
"Tiana," Victor whispered. "Tiana Striker. She arranged everything. The guns, the plan, the payment."
Spider didn't react outwardly, though internally something clicked into place.
He recorded everything with his phone. Every word. Every confession.
When it was done, Spider stepped outside into the cool night air, dialing a number he hadn't planned to call this way.
"Ma'am," he said when the call connected. "I have the leader of the shooters."
