They were trained werewolf assassins, and they outnumbered us two to five. My husband and I fought hard, but it wasn't enough. Richard mind-talked to me, telling me to take our daughter Daciana and run. I refused at first, continuing to fight alongside him. But one of the hounds pounced on him, pushing him aside and dashing toward the back door where the car was parked. I ran after him, fighting with all my might, but I was already severely injured and getting weaker.

It glared at the Dodge Tomahawk, its eight enraged compound eyes flashing with red light. It shrilled, and then its mouth moved, as if something was going to spurt out of it. Nicole saw the anomaly and quickly bounced backward. The next second, the position where she had just stood a second ago, was hit by the white slime-like substance that shot out of the spider's mouth. The ground was corroded and turned black in an instant.

The man asked, curiosity was visible in his voice making the two women frowned, while Vanessa was just looking at the spider with burning eyes. "Take that away from me! Or better kill that thing, it's so disgusting!" She shouts at them. "Hey, you might hurt her feelings especially now that Aracni is pregnant, she might lose her babies." Hunter said and gave the spider away to the guy beside him. "Pregnant what?! So you are saying that it will release many species like her? No, starting today. I don't want to see any of those creatures in this whole organization. Try me Hunter, or else you wanted to kill me?" Vanessa asked with authority in her voice. Hunter pouted in return.
