I sighed "wow he sounds like a legend amongst your people."I commented,Jake sure did have wild blood running through his veins. I could see it clearly through his orange bloody eyes and that sinister dangerous smirk he always has on him. Even his height and body fit for a Greek God proved it all,he was in every way intimidating,wild but careful and calculating at the same time. Every move he made was clever and had a purpose-an aim-a goal.

He knows that Jared would be a much better Alpha than he was and That way he could get Jackie to leave the pack alone and give the Luna title to Jared’s mate.

The men were bare chested, and their skins rippled and shone with sweaty muscles. "Are you finally here to help, Gene?" One of them asked. Gene stuck out her tongue and said, "You wish. I am showing my friend around." The man jumped from the 5 foot high podium and landed easily on his feet. Standing up close, he was larger than I expected. "Avery, meet my childhood friend, Jackson," Gene said. "For some reason, he is the one leading the other men this afternoon." Jackson squinted slightly because the sun was shining directly on his face, but I could see his light blue eyes. "Avery, it is nice to meet you." He took my hand gently. His palms were calloused but soft at the same time.

Jackson yelled, pushing his sleeves up in a hurry and extending his arm, which is slightly shaking. He’s overcome with guilt. Raven had saved his life and sacrificed herself. He was blaming himself. The nurse runs over, but I push Jackson out of the way as he stares at me with accusing eyes. “Take mine,” I said hoarsely. It was the least I could do. Jackson was my beta after all. Without Raven's sacrifice, I wouldn't still have my best friend or second in command. Jackson’s blood wouldn’t be as potent as mine was, nor as strong.

Apart from those, he wasn't such a man of big stature. "My name is Jackson. I am the boss of The Thrill. You are Raymond. She is Grace, the zombie fighter. Aren't you thrilled?" Jackson stretched his hand to shake hands with Raymond. Raymond refused to take it. "It's okay, if you don't shake hands. You're still bathing in hot surprise" he walked away from them. An iron cage dropped over the two of them immediately Jackson moved away from them. "I won't want you to think of yourselves as prisoners. I just hate losing my men easily and carelessly. They are like brothers to me" he put his hand on his heart emotionally.

Avery took her passport and fled the party immediately after talking to her mother. Dora Jackson bursts into William Jackson's office with a wild look in her eyes, shocking him with the news that his daughter has vanished without a trace. Enraged, William hurls objects across his study in a fit of fury. The union between the Jacksons and the Knights could solidify his status as one of the most powerful families in all of New York, and now it was falling apart before his very eyes.

Jared looked up and met his gaze. "Ava used her Alpha command to stop me." Ava had commanded an Alpha? "And then the next thing I knew, she put me in the basement, and she went and beat the shit out of your dad." What did this mean? Her wolf showed up when she was in danger? "I knew from the beginning that she wasn't an Omega," Jared said, pulling him out of his thoughts. "And I gave her this cream to help her heal, but when she came to see me the other day, it sounded like she expected it to work instantly, but that’s not how it works—"

I replied. “I guess we realized that we were actually oppressed and it was not Charlotte who was doing all that but her dad” he said. All the time I lived with Charlotte I have never seen her dad and now that the driver was mentioning him, it hit me as a shock. “Her dad?” I asked. “Yeah” he replied. “I thought he was dead or something” I said. “Mr. Jackson is more of an invisible man. No one meets him just like that, he’s the most feared leader of the Jackson Clan. Only business tycoons get to sit with him on the same table” the driver replied.
