Saved by the Mafia King

"Liar. Mommy is lying. You're a witch... You don't have a baby in your belly. You don't have a baby at all. I want daddy. I still want my daddy..." As he spoke, he began to cry again. "You little fellow... How can I lie to you? It really is a baby, but the baby is only too little now. Next year, when the baby grows up, the baby can come out and play with you. Don't cry, okay? If you cry, Mama will cry." Elizabeth did not expect that the elder he got, the harder it would be to coax him. She patiently consoled him.

The Children of Thunder

The Children of Thunder

A subdued silence enveloped the fireplace after Shango’s story, interrupted only by the occasional chirping of the night crickets. “That does not count as a bedtime story,’’ Babybaby finally found her voice. “It is child,’’ the thunder god answered. “No it’s not’’ Babybaby insisted quite stubbornly. “bedtime stories are supposed to be a nice tales with happy ending, all bedtime fairytales are, like the ones Amaka used to read to me, this one is a stupid story.’’

shattered vows

shattered vows

The children's giggles filled the air as they made silly faces at each other making their parents smile at their cute antics as well. Afterward, they gathered around the children's crib for storytelling. Adyant settled onto the bed beside Veda, their shoulders touching but neither of them pulled away. The twins snuggled up against each other, eyes shining with excitement. "Tell us about the magical kingdom, Papa!" Vedansh exclaimed. Adyant's deep voice wove a tale of a brave king, fire-breathing dragons, and enchanted forests. Veda listened, captivated by the way he focused so seriously while telling the fantasy story to their babies.

In?" He says and I melt all over. Every day he tells some story to the babies and I get all silly, Oliver is sweet and he's already the best father in the world.

he says finally getting me out of the water with me whining the whole time, he brushed my hair and dressed me again, this time it was a footie jammy, covering me from top to feet, keeping me warm. "You want me to read you a story?" he asks, I nodded yes, and he sat in a rocking chair and started to read the story, it was a story meant for littles like me, about a princess and her daddy, I was almost asleep by the end of it, almost. When he tried to put me in the crib, I screamed wanting out, what of the evil teddy comes back to hurt me, I don't want to sleep in here. "Calesti, you just love screaming, but daddy only understands words, use your words," he says holding me back up.

She's Moved on With Someone New

The baby needed a father, too. Wearing loose pajamas, Alanna sat on the edge of the bed. She held an Auritanian novel in her hand. Hades walked to the bedside and hugged her. "What story does our baby want to hear today?" Alanna glanced at the fairy tale anthology in his hand before saying, "She actually doesn't understand anything. She just likes to hear your voice." Hades looked at Alanna. "Can I read it to you? Just like when you used to read to me in Junaris."

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

"When you were still in my belly, he would listen to your heartbeats every chance he got. He would laugh to himself when he heard and felt your movements, and hold you tightly in my belly at night." "Babies as small as you will quickly forget what happened when you were small, especially after you grow up," Harriet whispered softly. "Don't worry, this mum of yours will keep telling you the same stories about your dad. How he'd stroke my bulging belly at night, how he'd tell you anecdotes when we were relaxing together, and the promises he'd make..." "...that he wants to take us around the continent when you start walking and talking." "He would take us to see the stars, the vast fields of fl

Abigail's Absent Husband Is A CEO

Abigail's Absent Husband Is A CEO

After applying the ointment, she leaned back against the headboard, grabbed a storybook, and began to read aloud, finding solace in the gentle act of storytelling. Abigail had heard about the significance of prenatal education and took it to heart. Each night before bed, she made it a routine to read stories to her unborn baby and play a variety of music. She would play different types of music, giving the baby a chance to "pick" their favorite. Even though the baby was still in her womb and could not communicate their choices, Abigail sensed a deep connection. She noticed the baby seemed especially joyful when classical music was playing, perhaps a sign of the unique bond between a mother a

Pampered Wedding: Marry Me, Mr. Langford

Pampered Wedding: Marry Me, Mr. Langford

Just as he approached a room’s doorway, he heard Tina and Kara’s conversation drifting from inside the room. “Tonight’s bedtime story is called ‘Tadpoles Searching for Their Mommy.’ The warm spring is here… A bunch of little tadpoles want to look for their mommy… After overcoming all the obstacles, the little tadpoles finally found their froggy mommy. Together, they lived happily ever after…” Tina’s tone was gentle as she read the bedtime story out loud from the storybook to her daughter. Kara lay in her arms, her heavy eyelids already glued together. She struggled to say, “The little tadpoles are very pitiful… I won’t be separated from you, Mommy… Even if we do get separated, I’ll find you

Dawn Preciado
Do not read this book it ended abruptly with not real ending or resolution to anything, I guess the author ran out of ideas to to toucher the leading lady. This book is a total waste of money and one of worse books I have ever stated reading. Save yourself the headache and don’t buy this book.
ahnkitomi
the title is a complete lie. ESPECIALLY after rhe marriage he viciously abuses, strangles, starves, punches and degrades her. after she's kidnapped and horrifically tortured he strangles her while calling her a whore because the bystander who reported her abduction was a man.
