Thomas shook his head, “No, I don’t want Martha to come babysit me.'“ He pouted with an apparent frown on his face. “Oh. Who would you like to stay with then?” Alex raised a brow, unsure if his son really knew what he wanted. Thomas pointed behind him—right at his teacher, Elena. “Her? You want her to come stay with you?” He asked, making sure he understood Thomas right.

The first few days after we'd slept together, I had been scrambling around trying to find someone competent to replace Janet. Kristen had picked up a lot of the slack for me when I worked from home. Thankfully, a few days ago, she sent me this list with contact numbers of all the best babysitters and nannies in San Diego. It had been an extensive list with details about every person on it. It had taken me eleven meetings and three-second interviews, but I'd finally found someone I was happy with. She was an older woman named Elaine Bennet, she was fifty-two years old, and she was a primary school teacher for fifteen years before she went back to school to study child psychology.

She hazarded a grin. "Did everybody know?" Abbie snorted. "Yeah, like we could tell Cassie or her mom and not have you instantly find out." "You're doing it with Cassie Brown, too?" Katie giggled, and it was such an adorable noise I couldn't tell if it was mirthful or malicious. "And her mom? That's frickin' crazy." Tabitha explained, "We had Ms. Salata ask her for help with a side project during the, erm, convocation. Not to equate teaching with babysitting, but in this case, she babysat to our satisfaction."

Then, she turned to Sebastian and said, "Sebastian, Theresa has a PhD in medicine. She can stay, right?" Before Sebastian could speak, Theresa urged Crystal, "Don't worry, Mrs. Sutton. I'll take care of Whit. I'll make sure nothing happens to her." Crystal was reassured and shut the door behind her. Outside, she smiled ingratiatingly at Fergus and said, "Mr. Cobb, don't worry. Theresa's in there, and if anything happens or if Sebastian tries anything with Winnie, Theresa won't just stand by and do nothing." Fergus harrumphed. He looked through the window at Sebastian and Theresa.

Just then, Mamita knocked on the door, “Amelia, I'm off to Gracias's house, won't be back till tomorrow afternoon!” “Okay, Mamita!" I met Chelsea's gaze after my grandma left and smile, “Fine, let's do this, but I'm just going to have fun at Club X, NOT to sleep with anyone.” "Do as you please, dear. That reminds me, this morning I spotted a babysitting job advertised on the internet." “Babysitting? You know I can't do that; I already have too many jobs, and I'm not good with kids!" "I know," Chelsea acknowledges, "but the compensation is significantly greater than your prior positions." They never said you'd be babysitting kids for $1000 per day!"

Thomas said, “Why are you so nervous? I’m not going to the villa just to go after you. I just want to see the owner of the villa.” “You mean, you want to see the Martin family’s madam, Britney Carter?” “Yes, I want to see what kind of woman she is that she can even order you.” Justis’ complexion turned red. Actually, Britney had not ordered him. It had been the Martin family. Thomas stood up and walked out of the private room with Justis. He really wanted to meet Britney Carter. He wanted to see why this Madam was so imposing, and he also wanted to discover the reason for this incident.

I confessed with a laugh. "I see that mothers can only recognize their own babies," Charlotte pointed out with a light laugh. "This is Lara," she pointed to the baby in her arms. "And here is Megan," Melanie said, and the love in her eyes made it clear how much she adored her nieces. "They are adorable..." I melted with love. "We have to catch up soon!" The light switch flipped. Thomas’s "devoted boyfriend" act vanished. He turned his full, predatory charm on Crystal, becoming overly touchy-feely, laughing at her jokes while looking right through Lily. Crystal’s smile faltered, her eyes darting uncomfortably to Lily. "Anyway... I should get going. Good to see you both," she said, practically fleeing toward her car.

She wanted to kill her but she knows that Benjamin will be mad at her. "Stop acting like that, Catriona. I was the one who has the right to get angry with you," Kristi said using her icy tone. She looked at her with vengeance in her eyes. She didn't forget that Catriona sent her a voice recording. "Kristi wants you to get better. She hired someone who can help you all night. I'm busy with the company and I can't always take care of you, Catriona," Benjamin informed her, making her mouth gasp.
