Novel & Cerita Baca Against The God

BOOK FOUR: THE ABYSSAL TIDE (Jace’s Perspective) Gravity is not a force; it is an argument. It is the earth demanding that everything return to its center. If you want to win that argument against an entire ocean, you cannot just raise your voice. You have to speak with something infinitely denser than water.

Katcha raises an eyebrow at him in anticipation, "But...?" "I can't..." Katcha mentally sighs, coming to terms that this man really can't form a coherent sentence to save his life. Crossing both her arms and legs, she leans back into the couch and looks at Goldie more seriously. "Listen, You may not remember anything, but you must know that there are good and bad people in this world. " Katcha begins, "The good people will be here to help you. They won't yell or hurt you. The bad people will use you to hurt other people and even yourself. Leonardo is one of the bad ones. "

A translucent veil of silver flame shimmered around them both—remnants of their intertwined essence. Michael’s voice resonated with impossible force, carried on the wind like the song of prophecy long buried. > “Let all who have heard the falsehoods know this: the divine never asked for altars built on bone. The gods never asked for silence in place of truth. And I—witness to the beginning and now to the end—return to give this judgment its blade.” The Bishops, once perched like vultures beside the Elders, began to retreat. One by one, their masks faltered. Their blessings, once unquestioned, cracked under the eyes of those they ruled. Murmurs rippled through the gathered survivors.

It contained a single book. “Woah! This is crazy,” Roger whispered. Lazarus walked up to the book, it was in a glass protective casing. “You didn’t know this was here, did you?” Velma asked. “No, I didn’t,” he clarified. Lazarus inspected the book. “What is it?” Nigel demanded. “It’s so beautiful,” Clarke admired. Lazarus gulped when he realized what it was. “It’s the Book of The God’s.”

“An angel does not depart from his duty. She has spent more time on earth than she should. You have kept her here long enough. It’s time for her to leave.” I laughed. I tasted blood in my mouth. It was my blood. “Is this a challenge?” “It’s the truth. We are ready to face you. Go to the temple and get the book. We won’t stop you. Alexandra’s work is done.” “No! I don’t care about the temple or the book. I want Alexa and if you think you can stop me, go ahead. I’ll show you what I’m truly made of.” Centuries upon centuries, this fight always took place. This would be my first battle with God because I stayed low but if He wanted to do this. I couldn’t watch him take the only thing keeping me

Something massive began to climb out. Not fully formed—but reaching. Bishop backed away now, real fear flashing across his face. “That’s not—this isn’t how—” “You didn’t read the ledger closely enough,” Saint snarled. “You never understood the binding.” The thing’s voice fractured. Blood binds. Fire binds. But choice— It hesitated. Choice fractures gods. The refinery erupted. Not outward. Inward. Energy collapsed toward us—toward Luca and me—compressing, screaming, tearing itself apart.

Oyinda looked up more angry, " you are taken side now, you are taken side with the god and not your kind, and i loved you with everything in me, but today you have to decide who's side are you, are you going to stay with us your fellow humans or take side with the evil gods and goddesses? Think about it not only because of our love but also for the sake of mankind, Agbara read my mouth, the beginning of the end is here, time to send these beasts away from our lands and i give you my undiluted words, in a month time, all gods would be chased away from our world or they rip out all our heads as well. either with or without you, these words are spoken and there is nothing that even the Eledumar

I look at her pleadingly and show her my hand that I raised to show that I’ve promised and that I’m not gonna break it. She looks at be unbelievably and sigh. “Fine. Don’t forget it on Monday, Avis.” She said as she points her finger on me. I smiled wildly at her. Then, I notice a book beside her bag on the table. It is a book about….. gods? I can’t see the whole title, but it is about gods and deities.

What happened Yesterday has been a mystery with no one to solve or have a clue on what it is. "But i think, this is the work of the goddess…it was written in ancient books that whenever we do not abide by the goddess, she punishes us with a scavenger" the prophet said and nodded vigorously as if to assure himself. Indeed it was written, but that wasn't a scavenger. "In those books of yours, did the birds die? Huh? And you're telling me the goddess has been offended. Why would we go against her." "I'm sorry my king, but you nearly killed the woman"

He took out his bible and read a passage there. "Psalm 82:1-5: 1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 'How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.' 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken."
