I wasn’t. “May I have it back?” ‘You should give it back, you rude twat!’ Bane scolded me. I took the book up to my eyes and scanned the content. Save for a few words on the front, it was relatively empty. “Oh. It’s a journal,” I rolled my eyes. “And it’s empty,” she had an accusing look on her face…one that made me frown as I handed the book back to her. “What?” “You know, since you forgot things…you didn’t think keeping a daily log of things would help you remember when your memory goes ‘poof!’?”

Powerful in bed. I shake my head to forget what I am thinking as I prick the chicken using a fork. I drink the water after finishing my food. I sit on the chair in front of the study table as I look at the books. I don't know what to read and if I ever read it I don't know that any information that I will get will stay in my mind. I'm thinking if I can just eat the paper so that the word inside that piece will be stuck in my head.

The cardboard cover had torn halfway down the front. “My old notes.” Asher flipped open the ripped cover. Inside, were page after page of handwritten notes in Asher’s meticulous handwriting. “I struggled with the memorization at first too. It’s much easier when you break it down like this.” He pointed to a sentence. The first letter of each word matched with a different part of the body. “Mnemonic devices are incredibly helpful,” Asher said. “I can help you with it sometime. But this will get you started.”

I had my shower, got dressed and took out my best novel. ‘Finding Damon’ It was a high school romance novel about supernaturals who fell in love but their differences set them on a path of deadly choices. I was down ten pages when dinner came in, It was a lady dressed in blue and white who brought the tray to my door. She looked so familiar, like one of my highschool seniors then, “Thank you,” I said, taking the tray from her. I munched down the food, finished it in less than five minutes and placed the tray back on the counter. When I went back to bed, the soft wind of the night blew over my face, sending me into a deep sleep unexpectedly.

"Anya, I'm allergic to milk. Don't you remember?" I froze, then said, "Oh, really? Sorry, I forgot. Lately, I seem to have trouble remembering things about you. What's going on? Why did we get together in the first place? It's very strange. Why am I only forgetting things about you?" Fabian's expression grew darker as I spoke, showing signs that he might explode.

When I went back from TK I made myself a huge mug of strong coffee and started to memorize as many people and their data as possible. Obviously, I knew this wouldn't be ease. I had to come up with a system that would help me remember. After some thinking I figured that I should use one thing that I was certain of, and that was writer's creativity. I decided to stick to associations, so I could match some facts about those people… in the stupider way the better.

"BaoBao, let's pick a world now then." BaoBao input the request to be assigned a world and a dark red book with gold trimmings soon appeared in front of Luna. "A book?" "What did you think?" BaoBao cocked his head. "I had thought you only called it a library to refer to it as some collection of knowledge. Just a term for the ease of reference." "It actually is." "Why don't you send all the information into my brain like you usually do?" "That's different. Those are the memories of the original soul which is triggered by intensely stimulating various parts of the brain. That's why you get an intense headache together with the information."

I had for once in my life no planning I had to go by, no plans or things to do or any expectations and I felt relaxed to have nothing to do but read a book in a hot bath. Once I was done taking a bath and a quarter of my book further I decided it was time to rinse myself off, I started to get hungry, which my mother would love, and figured it should be about time to maybe go downtown, get myself some new clothes and new books from the money I had saved and was still in the envelope I was given along with my train ticket.

He said: "I am not looking at you like you might break." She said: "You are looking at me like you are memorizing something." He held that. He said: "Yes." She looked at him. He said: "I am memorizing you at the table with the tea and the morning dispatch. I am memorizing you reading with your pen in your hand and your attention entirely on the page." He paused. "I am memorizing this morning." She looked at him for a long moment. She said: "Don't." He said: "Nyra—"
