Your Last Lie to Me! {Book One}

Your Last Lie to Me! {Book One}

One of the female help bowed their head in response then sped out of the room. “Whose blood?” I asked, and her red gaze met my eyes. “Memorian.” She responded. “Those man-eating beasts that thrive in the mountains, I mean, well generally in cold places but you know.” Memorians are man-eating beasts that usually distort the memory of their preys. When the Prince had been giving a tour of Portburgh to Daisy, after Vivanna’s death, of course, he had wanted her to see the land that she would inherit. They had been caught in a snowstorm and separated. Daisy met a lone memorian who distorted her memory, making her believe that it was Kassian’s and her child.

Silent Memories

Silent Memories

Newly motivated, he set the treadmill faster and enjoyed the speed. "Are you in a hurry?" Janik also greeted his friend in sports clothes. Josh grinned and turned the treadmill off. "Morning!" He took a towel and his water bottle while Janik started the treadmill. "And how did you run?" "27 minutes, 9.7 kilometers." Janik grinned. "Show off." "You asked me." Josh said with a shrug and started doing pushups. “You always take everything so precisely. Just say: nine kilometers in half an hour. "

Till Worlds Do Us Part

Till Worlds Do Us Part

"You remember?" "Yes, that is my name. How did you know that?" "Do you remember your surname?" "Genesis Leticia Roseburg." I said instinctively. "Genesis Leticia Roseburg?" "You remember." "But how?" I was so confused myself. "I never knew it. Only now when you called me Genesis. How so?" "It's part of the memory gaining tactics. Sometimes you just need a key word, and you will remember so much." "The way you said it... promise me, Genesis."

she replied. "How are we going to do it? How will you get the exact memory I need?" I asked. "Do you have anything to anchor yourself to that memory? A place you remember, a date, something physical like an object you had that day… anything that is peculiar to that day will work. I will use that thread to find the memory linked to it. Be sure that it is linked to the correct memory or else if you get the wrong memory, I couldn't do anything," she remarked.

SATOU, D.
This is interesting. I gave it 10. Because I like the story. Even I'm not into female lead yet I found it interesting. What is the goddess Artemis leads to? Just from reading the synopsis it tickles the surprises! Thank you for sharing this. Imma recommend this to my other friends.

Bit of a long winded read, lots of filler sentences, only at chapter 15 and already changed from a wolf to a tiger, either needs to re-edit the book and fix mistakes or remove from warewolf genre not worth the money spent so far, but will give it couple more chapters to see where it goes

Her Hatred & Vengeance, Second Love

Her Hatred & Vengeance, Second Love

I stared at Killian who nodded and began to explain. “Selective amnesia is a form of memory loss in which a person loses specific memories while keeping back others, and this is often related to particular events or time periods. This condition can be triggered by trauma, stress, or psychological factors, and typically, the memories lost are those associated with emotionally distressing or significant experiences.

Vows he doesn't remember

Vows he doesn't remember

Not really. “You shouldn’t be here,” he said the moment he saw me. “Then why haven’t you locked your door?” I snapped, shoving the flash drive into his palm. “I need to know if it’s real.” He stared at it for a long time. Then sighed. “I warned you both,” he said. “Back then. Memory tampering comes at a cost.” “I don’t care. I want it back.” He narrowed his eyes. “Are you ready to remember everything?”

Conceived under the moon

Conceived under the moon

She gets to what looks like the smallest book in the session and she hears a whisper. As she brings her finger back to the book she hears, “Yes!” She grabs it and she opens it. It's so small she reads it within a few hours. She goes at it in awe. She retreads it and is still shocked and blown away by how much valuable information this tiny book contains. She's about to put it away when she hears, “Memorize it!” Jolene repeats, “Memorize?” The voice repeats, “Learn it, live it, love it!”

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

Make Adrian look like the man who abandoned his amnesiac wife for his first love. If I played the “I don’t remember you” card perfectly, he would have to respond. He would have to come see me. He would have to explain. And maybe — just maybe — in trying to remind me, he would remember how much he once loved me. I got into the car and immediately started drafting the post in my notes app. Something soft. Vulnerable. “Some memories still feel like dreams… some faces still feel like strangers…” Yes. This could work. This could hurt him enough to make him come back.

Love Remembers

“I’m not sure. I wish I could remember my real name.” “Give it time.” “You seem so sure of that.” “I am, but until then, we need to discuss what you should do until your memory returns.” “What do you mean?” “Well, we have cleared you for the most part. We can’t find anything wrong with you.” “But I can’t remember anything about myself.” “As we told you before, that’s because you have Retrograde Amnesia. With this condition, your memories can resurface at any time.” “Or never.” “It does you no good to think that way.”

A Promise to Remember

"No, I'm not." Ted froze. "Oh, must've mixed it up." She pressed, "Who is allergic to fish, then?" He shrugged. "Brain fog. I've had too much to drink." She shot me a dark look, then deliberately dropped a piece of salmon onto my plate, staring intently. "Try it, Nora. It's good."
