someone shouted. The level nines could handle just the giant wolf, but they would be outmatched if there were additional forces. Suddenly, a massive iron fist appeared in front of them. Bam! With a thunderous smash, one of the level nines was overwhelmed. He screamed as his energy backfired on him, causing him to explode into a mist of blood. The remaining fighters were shocked. They had expected one of them to be crushed so easily, and they quickly realized that this was not the work of a monster, but a powerful level nine similar to them.

Chapter 9: Black Backbreaker The hallway throbs, a pulsing chamber of raw sensation. Her moans, broken and blissful beneath his kiss, are a symphony of surrender that fuels his relentless drive. He feels her body arching against him, her hips grinding, a desperate, unbidden response to his every thrust. Her legs, wrapped tight around his waist, pull him deeper, locking him in, an anchor to her unravelling. Her mouth, hot and pliant beneath his, accepts his demanding kiss, swallowing his urgency, silencing her fading protests. The wet slap of their skin against the wall, the rhythmic thwack of flesh on flesh, is a drumbeat to their descent into primal ecstasy.

Nine is tied up inside a tent. She is weak and the ropes tying her are laced with liquid mercury which is the weakness of her kind. Her hands are slightly burning and she cannot use her magic in this state. She can see a shadow approaching and the familiar, sweet scent hits her nostrils. Damien barges into the tent, looking visibly angry. “Why are they going to Ghi’or?” He snarls at her, his eyes flared up. He tries to look intimidating and dominating to her, hoping to scare the woman but Nine only scoffs.

I had no sense of direction. Even after five years on Avenmore Island, I still could not tell north from south. Isaac Norwood always set up my GPS ahead of time. He said he would guide me for the rest of my life. On our wedding day, the bridal car reached Summit Pass Road when he suddenly said the bouquet had been left in the trunk. The moment I stepped out, the car door clicked shut behind me and locked. I saw the driver glance at Isaac through the rearview mirror, like he had known all along. The next second, the motorcade disappeared into the fog. Isaac sent me a voice message. "Walk 999 steps forward and you'll hit a fork in the road. Sabrina says you can't even find the ceremony hal

"Now, you have come out, and my spirit energy has also been absorbed by you. Shouldn't you show the benefit..." The pair of red demon eyes of the Nine Netherbird stared at Zephyr Khan and said in a low voice, "Although I do not know what this fellow is, it is definitely not simple. You are actually able to subdue this thing. I am somewhat confident in what you have just said. Perhaps you can help me when I have the chance to face that old undying thief in the future... there are nine levels of space in this Immortal Secret Land. Each level of space is different. The danger of each level is also different. One level is the weakest and the ninth level is the most frightening..."

Pulte said. Pulte was worried about what might happen. He called Ravitz again and this time he quickly answered. "What's going on? What's happening?" Pulte asked. "Oh, get inside the bunkers and guide other people near you to safety. We're in level 3, the monsters have increased in the northwest wall and a couple of them are already above the city." "Have you contacted the doctors? Are they safe?" "Don't worry, the headquarters is the safest place in the city. Most of the people have already gone underground and uh-"

Because suddenly— the narrative Cross built around emotional detachment was collapsing right in front of them. And they couldn’t control it anymore. Emergency lights continued failing across the chamber. Darkness spread deeper through Sector Nine. Then suddenly— Lyra’s expression changed sharply. “What?” She pointed toward the archive vault below. “The backup extraction system.” Everyone looked instantly. A secondary server core was activating beneath the main chamber floor. The upload percentage started moving again. 99%. Daniel stared in horror. “WHY DOES THIS PLACE HAVE SO MANY BACKUPS?!”

No way I was missing that. I was halfway down the corridor when some hunched figure nearly collided with one of my guards. "S-Sorry..." That voice. That rasp. I stopped cold. James? He must've caught my scent too—his head jerked up, eyes blown wide. "...Avril?" Fresh off Nightmaw exile, no doubt crawling back to beg the council to lift his criminal brand. Whip scars still crossed his skin. He looked twenty years older—wrecked. I hit him with a dead stare. When he stepped forward, I immediately backed off, leaving air between us.

Before Adrian could respond, the brass key inside his pocket suddenly became burning hot. He gasped and pulled it out. The engraved number—214—had disappeared. In its place, new numbers slowly emerged across the metal. 9... 18... 41... Evelyn's face turned pale. "The key is changing." Lucien smiled. "It always changes when the next door opens." A deep rumble shook the chamber. The unfinished ninth pillar began to crack. Thin streams of blue light escaped through the stone. The entire floor trembled. Dust fell from the ceiling.
