"You'll learn the vocabulary."

He laughed loudly that his voice echoed and when he realized he’d gone too far laughing, he stopped and continues to chuckle softly. “It’s not nihongo, it’s a filipino word. Your grandparents taught me about it. Suki in filipino language means- someone who kept coming back to you to buy something that you’re selling.” “Oh. And why do you know about things like that and I don’t?” “I don’t know, maybe you never ask your grandparents about it————oh my fruitness! You’re not wearing pajamas!” He immediately said when he was about to turn around.

"So, you are good in Nihongo." "Watashi wa sukoshi Nihonggo ga hanasemasu." (I can speak a little Nihonggo) "Ahh..." I voiced out with a nod, convincing him to believe that I understood what he said when the truth is, I didn't. He chuckled a bit, aware of my foolishness.
