“Bambi, this is Jeneta Arinze.” Then, without missing a beat, he added. “She’s my woman.” My head snapped toward him, my eyes widening slightly, but his expression didn’t waver. He looked calm and composed, as though what he’d just said was a simple fact, not something that sent my mind spiralling. Bambi’s sharp eyes studied me, her red-painted lips curving into a small smile. She extended a hand immediately. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Jeneta. I’m Bambi Okafor.”

Bambi mumbled, drumming her fingers on the reception desk with disdain. "Ma'am. Mrs Linus right? " Anthony questioned. "I need to make a call to my lawyer! " Bambi Amah Solanke declared! Opemiplenty

"My niece has graduated from a proper college, you know! You don't have to prepare any fancy wedding gifts… Just 800 thousand dollars will do! On top of that, you can put her name on the deed of that fancy deluxe apartment in the city center. "From the way I see it, there's no need to choose the perfect date anymore. They should get their marriage registered tomorrow and do their best to give birth to a cute baby boy!" My adopted son has a volatile temper, so there's no way he'll go on a blind date with some random woman.

“Maybe I was wrong selling you firefly” Doc slid down the door, shook his head slightly as if clearing a fog. “Where is my little firefly anyway?” “That’s none of your business” Doc’s eyes, cold and devoid of pain, fixed on Elijah. “She’s Bambi, Not Firefly” “I decided, I’m Taking her back to my sanctuary tonight” “Like hell you are, she’s mine” With a sudden burst of energy, Doc launched himself forward again, closing the distance like a predator. Their bodies collided once more—flesh, bone, and muscle entwined in a savage embrace.

Needed to hold and keep safe. Farren shook her head, letting some of her pin-straight tendrils fall on her face. "I keep hearing the bullets hit things. Seeing Priamos fall to the ground." She grimaced and pulled her arms tightly across her chest. Sinking into a crouch, I placed my hand on her extended foot. Farren recoiled. Brought her legs slightly up and out of my reach. This stirred the fawn. Bambi, they had all started calling him. Those doe eyes settled on me. Brushed me off and curled back into the girl. She had started to aimlessly pet it. Soothing either her nerves or his.

" Laughing, I watched his mind link again, but this time his face looked scared, then angry. "OOOO Bambi is coming to give you a bruisin!" I laughed aloud, teasing the beta. The last time I saw Bambi fight the rogue hunters who kidnapped us, I was so impressed with the fierceness of that girl. I was surprised as well, and I thought that her greatest weapon would be to talk her enemies into submission, but I was wrong.

She jumped up when she saw me. "Yo man what the fuck, you have to tell me when people are coming in here." She said gathering her pencils and shoving them under a pillow. I knew instantly that the art supplies had to be contraband. My eyes widened, I had never be seen real contraband in person. She most definitely was not assigned those tools, so how did she get them? "Relax Vixen." Fox said then gestured to me. "This is our newest, Bambi."

Her words were muffled in his fur. He scooped her up, letting her sit on his back as if he were a horse, then took off towards her home. She layed her body against his back and held onto the fur at his neck for dear life as he trotted through the trees. The feeling of riding on his back rigged at a memory just put off reach in her mind but she pushed it away, she was too exhausted to think about the past at the moment. She was having minor difficulties holding her blanket in place while she was being bounced around like a hackey sac ball.

I look around the building that looks like it would collapse anytime soon and then take a look at the surroundings. I take in a deep breath and I try to catch the scent of Bambi. I don’t even know how she got to a place like this. My sister had been blowing up my phone to ask for her friend and I’ve not been picking. How did Bambi get here? She left my office angry, she could have come home and this place is so far from the city. There are objects around and some drawings are also on the ground. I crouch down and run my fingers over one of the drawings, and the moment I recognize the symbol carved into the dirt, something cold runs down my spine.

Bambi was a little unsettled to accept her hand but she fell for it and Susanna took her to sit on a couch. “I’m just going to make sure you don’t try anything funny while we talk. It will be wrong for this simple conversation to turn bloody.” Susanna conversed with Bambi so causal that Bambi wonders if this woman was born with any conscience in her. “Why do you need me to distract the guards, I am just a nurse employed to watch after Miss Cherry.” Bambi tells her.
