"Come on. Take that. We're going to make a salad I saw some ingredients in the fridge earlier for Buko salad. (Buko salad: A dessert contained of lots of young coconut meat, nata de coco, milk and sago (tapioca pearls). A simple day with Steven. No Amanda. I prefer this. Fun and very fulfilling. We’re in the house and we’re done making Buko salad. We put it on the fridge. "Babe, wanna come with me?" "Where?" I asked while eating the banana fries I cooked earlier. "Fishing," Fishing? Hmm.. That’s a nice idea. "Yes please," I said excitedly. He laughed. "You like it?" I nodded. I looked into his eyes and he was looking at me full of... Love?

Second Chance for the Billionaire

Second Chance for the Billionaire

"It's okay. I've just arrived myself." Mrs. Fiona glared resentfully, clicking her tongue as she attempted to say something cutting but dared not anger Reginald. She grabbed her glass and shuffled away, her steps heavy with frustration. Reginald led Arabella to a table where they settled. He picked up a piece of sashimi and brought it close to Arabella's lips. "This morning's fresh air-flown bluefin tuna belly, the most delicious part of the fish. Have a taste." Bluefin tuna, hailed as the "king of sashimi" or the "Rolls Royce of fish," stands as the pinnacle of seafood delicacies worldwide.

Eden Rebuilt: My Island Adventure with Divine

Ethan Brooks soon returned with his spear, and Luna Marie cooperated by bringing a small iron bucket for cooking, ready to be transported to Coconut Grove after Ethan Brooks had gotten his fish. As soon as he set foot on the reef, Ethan Brooks burst into a fit of glee, first taking a general turn. "I'm not too familiar with marine fish, what is that fish?" Ethan Brooks asked Luna Marie, pointing at an unrecognizable fish. "That one is a sharp nose bass, the one next to it should be a bigeye tuna, over here we have grouper, oh! Look here, lobster, it's lobster! In that rock crevice!"

, a popular Philippine dish, herself and planned to substitute napa cabbage or eggplant for the banana bud (locally known as banana heart), which should be available in the fish market but not in the supermarket. At first, Kate tried to beg off from going into the supermarket with her parents. She said she’d rather go window-shopping by herself or sit somewhere and meet them at an agreed spot later (“Just text me when you’re done”) but her ma didn’t want her out of her sight because neither she nor her pa had brought their cellphone. “You better come in if you want that Cornetto you’ve been whining about. I’m not gonna pick that up for you.” Kate obeyed even though she knew her pa would surr

The Wrong Night with Mr. Right

The Wrong Night with Mr. Right

‘I trust you because you’re smart, but you’re still too young. As Milo ventured towards the seafood section, Veronica went back to selecting fruits and vegetables. In the bustling seafood area, Milo found himself surrounded by a crowd of shoppers. His attention was captivated by a large fish on ice being cut into pieces for sale. The enthusiastic little boy couldn’t resist asking, ‘Uncle, what kind of fish is this?’ The supermarket staff, charmed by the young boy’s curiosity, responded, ‘Bluefin tuna, little friend. Would you like a piece? It’s a bit salty, but it’s delicious.’

Crazy Adventures

Crazy Adventures

"If it weren't for the fact that I'm famished and would you look at the size of that fish!" On the table was a smoking, grilled 18" mahi-mahi on banana leaves on a large tatami mat. There was a large woven wicker basket of steaming basmati rice and a medley of lightly seared fresh vegetables in another. There was also a large bowl brimming full of cut pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, guava, kiwi, banana, and more. "The fish was caught just a few hours ago," Mahana said. "This looks incredible," Krista said as she in one of the bamboo chairs on the side of the table that allowed her to see the entire platform area.

The Wrong Brother, The Right Mistake

The Wrong Brother, The Right Mistake

“I need Latin food.” I blinked. “What Latin food?” “I want...” She frowned so hard her bangs fell low enough to nearly cover her eyes. “A-reh-pah. Empa-nada. And the yellow thing.” “Rice?” “No.” “Corn?” “No.” “Banana?” She pointed at me dramatically. “Yes. Punished banana.” Hannah burst out laughing from the sofa. I looked at the ceiling. “God, give me strength.” “I want punished banana,” Abby repeated, louder now, because apparently her culinary demands needed to be heard all the way in Colombia. “The smashed one. The fried one. The crunchy one. Plah... pla... pla-ta-nose.”

The men kept moving the ship closer to this ship because it was the only way we could know what they were running away from. “They’re called water pipes. It’s a rare species of fish that eats wood and also eats flesh. Their skin has sores filled with silver; hence, they’re dangerous to our kind…” Captain Phillips told us about the fish, but Enzo was keen on knowing the solution more than the problem itself. “So what do we do?”

I Make My Own Happy Ending

I Make My Own Happy Ending

Inside the Montagne el'Varel Viewing Platform. "Seafood from the Wildlands are truly something else," Madam Josefa commented, poking at a plate of something called Blue Fish Grass in Orange and Garlic Sauce. It was definitely blue, but it didn't look anything like fish, or grass, for that matter. It looked like blue burger patties covered in grated orange skin and garlic chunks. Bravely, she cut up a piece and chewed it thoughtfully. "Well, it definitely tastes like fish."

Good Girl in Action

Good Girl in Action

It wasn’t something new to me because I expect islands to be like this. I followed the battalion of red ants as they lined up toward their destination. My nostrils smelled a mildewy and fermented scent. The ants raced to the top of a tree where yellow bananas hang freely. “There you are,” I uttered. It wasn’t hard to harvest all of them. A banana has important nutrients that are enough to fuel us in the meantime. A medium-sized banana has about 150 calories, and it is rich in fiber and antioxidants. It reminds me of our training when I was younger. After we graduated, they sent the five of us to an island where they trained us. They gave us instructions on what to do. It was more of a tortur

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........
