Bane snapped. I looked up, my breath catching violently in my throat. The silver in his eyes was entirely gone. They had gone completely pitch-black, a terrifying, abyssal void of pure, unadulterated murderous fury. The expression on his face was so feral, so lethal, it looked like he wanted to slaughter an entire army with his bare hands but as his grip tightened fractionally on my chin, I realized with a sudden, jarring shock that the monstrous rage radiating from his soul wasn't directed at me at all.

I chuckle darkly, hearing Bane purr in delight, ready to fight and tear apart anyone who dares to harm our family. 'You're sadistic,' I laugh at Bane, watching him launch at the lycan warrior, digging our claws into his abs, completely eviscerating him. 'They follow that lunatic, they deserve pain,' Bane growls, I roll my eyes watching him catch the next lycan by the throat, and flipping him onto his back. 'Focus on the fight, we need to take care of Sasha, she's got more power than the rest and she will hurt Raven and Liliana,' I focus on dodging the giant set of claws that barely miss our face but still manage to rake across our shoulder.
