Emily Warner I decided to dress up a little for my last dinner with Carter before he leaves tomorrow. So far he has only seen me in my sweatpants. I don’t know why but the thought of him leaving is not sitting well with me. He handles me so well, surprisingly he hasn’t hurt my feelings once which are very easy to hurt because I am very fragile.

"Auntie, you can promote my products. Many of your followers like fashion. They might be interested." Barbara was enthusiastic, but she did not want to show it. "Okay, just provide the information." While Emily smiled sweetly, Louis brought the trolley closer to Barbara. "Since the solution has been found, how about you eat, Auntie? Poor these crabs. They have been neglected for a long time." Barbara wanted to laugh. However, to protect her pride, she snorted. "Then get out of the way. I can't bring this trolley in if you guys are blocking the door."

Ramon was an unambitious man. Hence, the Walter family's authority fell into Barbara's hands. Most of the Walter family members found Barbara unfit for the role and were left extremely dissatisfied. Just as the dissatisfaction against her grew, Barbara coincidently found Birdie while at sea. At first glance, Birdie bore a striking resemblance to Sandra's deceased daughter! Looking at Birdie's adorable little face, a malicious idea formed in Barbara's mind. She planned to have Birdie impersonate Sandra's deceased daughter and use her to steal the Walter family's land deeds and seals.

“I’m not pushing you. I’ll bring you over when you’re ready.” Barbara leaned into his arms, looked down, and smiled, “Thank you.” At Soul… Maisie looked through information about Madam Knowles. From her photos, she could tell that this was a fiery woman. Madam Knowles had married Elder Master Knowles when she was 30. Looking through the pictures taken during events when she was young, she was indeed an ambitious beauty, with her every move exuding confidence. “The place is a dive but it can’t be that bad.” Robert is just about to give them an answer to that, despite the fact that practically every part of his mind screams out for him to end this conversation right this minute, when he spots Belinda’s car sitting outside the bar. “I know that car!” He says. “Which one?” He points at the car. He has no idea what the make is; he isn’t very good at that sort of thing. It has four doors and it is dark green. “I know the woman who owns it!”

Meanwhile, mayhem had broken loose at the Hudson Manor after Robert’s mother Carol Hudson and sister Larissa learnt that Sarah was Theodore Hills’s daughter and also the world famous author Honey C. whose books earned enormously and who was pursued by Hollywood film producers to sell them her book rights ! “We have done hara-kiri mom!”, Larissa whined. “ Who would have ever thought that obese koala bear who slogged day and night without complaining is someone born with a golden spoon in mouth and had a battery of servants and maids at home to do the menial jobs she did here?”, Carol palmed her head in dismay.

Her mind seethed at her because he was unsuitable in every way, yet her heart wanted to find him this very instant. A sharp knock at the door made both jump, Sophie went to answer it and Athena heard a quiet, “Yes Sir…much better now…I will”. Returning to the comfort of the fire and chairs Sophie handed her a book tied with a ruby ribbon. Untying the ribbon she saw it was a collection of prints and drawings from the capital cities of Europe. “Baron Fairfax suggested you might like these to read whilst you rest. Isn’t he kind!” “He is yes, what a beautiful book.”

The woman who had just arrived was Barbara Shelton, an old friend of Nicko’s in college. Barbara had a crush on Nicko, but stopped approaching him because she knew that the boy she liked was poor. Barbara had tried to approach him again during the IT expert meeting. They all thought that Nicko had an affinity for the Lloyds, and at his brother’s request, he tried to seduce Nicko back.

Her mind was hazy, mostly more muddled by rage than anything else, but somehow, she maneuvered through the sea of silk and expensive perfume with natural grace, using the very people who had mocked her not long ago as shields to keep the man she was attracted to away. Her plan worked. Barbie slipped past a group of boisterous diplomats and veered sharply toward the service corridor, breathing slightly in relief at the sight of them leading a confused Knight towards the gu
