“Good morning, Barbara. Julius.”
“Phillippa told us that you weren’t feeling well,” Julius says.
“Yeah, the shift messed me up,” I answer as I pour myself some coffee. I have a few sips of it and feel better. Coffee just has that effect on me.
“I haven’t shifted in ages,” Barbara comments. “I just hate it so much. Getting dirty like that and wanting to sink my teeth into a live animal. Yuck.”
“It’s great, Mom,” Phillippa replies with a smile. “Sometimes it’s great to free yourself and kind of let that animalistic side rule.”
