Brian’s POV Walking into Misty Mountain Bar I could smell her, my mate. She was here. “Mate, mate” my wolf is screaming in my head. Jumping up and down like a pup waiting for a long-awaited present. “Shut up! There will be no mate! So, stop your wailing.” I said with a firm tone, trying to shut him up. “Have to go find mate, I want mate” he kept screaming, but I ignored him and walked towards the bar as I needed a drink badly after the day I had.

Mark bit back a groan of pain. "You value him so much? So much that you're finally accepting the mate bond between us?" He gave me a bored look. He turned to face Mark, still pulling at his hair. Katelyn asked, holding one of my hands in hers. “I’m fine.” I replied curtly. My brothers merely spared me glances before giving their attention back to their own activities. How dare Baron call Katherina his mate? Were they mates? Well, I was not a hundred percent sure but I could still be correct they were not mates. I tried to ignore the note of hurt in her voice and the sullen look on her face. "No they haven't, I imprinted." The words hurt her just as I knew they would. It's one thing for the elders to choose a lesser consort for me and another for my nature to actually imprint on someone. “Blake, please, just tell me.” He takes a deep breath. “Anna... she’s my mate.” My breath catches in my throat. His mate?
