"He's saying 'hi', Ed, shake his trunk." Ed extended his hand and shook the elephant's trunk like he would someone's hand. And then the elephant too, turned around and left. And then came a giraffe, causing Ed to crane his neck up to look at the tall giraffe. I handed him a long leaf, "feed it to him."

"Don't be cowards. There's nothing in this forest. It's just ordinary wolf howls. If they attack, pull out your damn guns!" The thugs fell silent. No more complaints were heard. They nodded, and Bart gave an order. "Now, lift this wench. Don't keep the boss waiting." "Alright." Two of them approached Era. Bart scanned the area, observing the situation and squinting his eyes. Bart tried to focus his vision. There was something strange behind the row of tall trees, like two shimmering lights, and he moved closer. Bart froze. His gaze, straight ahead at first, slowly began to rise. He followed the movement of the two lights and realized they were a pair of wild eyes.

Her hands scratched the air, demonstrating the baby elephant. "Seeing that, I immediately encouraged the baby elephant. Come on, baby elephant, you can do it! You are the largest land animal in the world. You can even knock down trees when you grow up," Summer exclaimed while clenching her fists. Her face looked serious and full of sincerity. "And it seemed like the baby elephant understood what I said. It kept kicking, lifting its body with its front legs. After a while, it managed to get out! The happy mother elephant immediately hugged her baby with her long trunk. It was so touching!"

Before long, most of them had shuffled over, impatient to get cleaned. The old elephant, the king of the herd, stood by the stream, chewing a head of cabbage and glancing at me from the corner of his eye. He was the one who wanted to stomp every zookeeper to death. I slipped a mangosteen from my pocket and tossed it toward the old elephant. It twitched his trunk, caught it, and swallowed it whole. I waved as if to say, ‘You want a bath?” He hesitated, then went into the pool on his own. He didn’t need my help.

Calesti POV. I wasn't allowed to pack, I wasn't allowed to take any of my books with me, not that I wanted the stupid book that doesn't work on how to summon a low-level demon. "I'm not leaving giggles behind," that's where I drew the line. "Giggles?" My keeper asks. "My elephant," I say with w big pout, he's a bad keeper, he doesn't even know my stuffed animal's name! "Go get him," he says letting go of my hand, I ran to my bedroom, Giggles have fallen to the ground after last night's events.

I figured it would take time for him to get used to me just like the other horses did. When the feeding was done, it was light outside and we heard a vehicle approaching the barn but then we remembered that Bart had to go home and take the fifth wheel out of the back of his truck and then fill it with stuff to make the mortar. He pulled up in front of the barn and shut his truck off and walked in to find Kendra and me. We stopped working and closed the pen we were in and talked to Bart.
